Given that and your answers below I don't think you dont have enough gas pressure coming through your lines.  Aka, your gas lines do not support the btu you need.

It depends on the length of the 1/2 pipe and what else is pulling from it.  Your right it should...but only if it's within a certain length.  That looks to be a 70k btu grill which is not insignificant.

If you confirm you have the right gas type you may need to do some gas load calculations.  It's possible that line may not support the amount of gas it needs.

While I don't know outside of Arizona, the most I have seen breeders do is to test for specific genetic markings, and that is also rare.  The genetic tests are also not complete because they dont get all mutations.  A lot of you mentioned are for older dogs and not puppies.
