I mentioned this already, so forgive me for spamming, but your missing window bonds. SBI has them, government bonds that are washable at anytime at market rate.
Choice_Vegetable557
Window bonds fixed 10 year at 3% at SBI. Either is a good choice.
Choice_Vegetable557
There are two types of government bonds, SBi has both but Rakuten and Monex etc have JGBs.
2,5,10 window bonds 3,5,10 JGBs with the 10 year being variable
10 year window is at 3%, 10 year variable over 2%

What is the ticker and volume?
Choice_Vegetable557
That is a nice idea! I am full time with you kids so I would need to think about it.
If the Ebisu book club does not workout, it could be a great suggestion.
Whereabouts was the cafe?
Choice_Vegetable557
Do not recommend junk bonds.
Choice_Vegetable557
Floating rate 10 year JGBs, principle guaranteed.

I need something in-person. Meet-up.com, facebook, insta, etc
Because of work and kids I need something static, organized in advance, predictable, reoccurring etc.
Choice_Vegetable557
I suppose, but at 3 and 6 it isn't too feasible. The book club is basically a way to carve out time for myself, working around schedules.
Choice_Vegetable557
I saw that article, thank you. They Koen Book club only has an Instagram page and no information about venue, RRSP etc. I don't use Instagram, so I sent a DM and I guess I wait? Is this how things are done with Instagram?

(CIC, JICC, KSC). They're all completely blank.
Time to get a contracted cellphone with one of the major providers, Softbank, Docomo etc.
That will get your first line entry on the credit report. Then after 6months - year of payment, try again.
Apply during the Rakuten campaign where they are desperate for numbers, timed to their fiscal reporting, attach your bank account during the application process.
That usually works.

With dress shoes bigger sizes are definitely not "standardized"
I have Size 13 runners and size 11.5 oxfords, and 12.5 caps. It is a crap shoot.

This seems a bit manic, let me guess an Albertian separatists take on Japanese economic policy?
Choice_Vegetable557
It is less annoying then luup to use, so it is usually my go to if I need a quick ride.
I have the hello cycle and Lime app, but I have never used them as they seem to have poor placement.

I appreciated today's yen dip post, I need to send some money for our trip back home to my foreign account and I had been attempting to time the market, but forgot to set a reminder for the FOMC meeting.
The dip basically covers the fees as cad/yen didn't move as much.

The emergency fund is the start, the it's ideco, Nisa and planning for retirement.
Credit is not your friend at this point, build your own safety net.

Part time uni work. Grinding out 14 koma.
Choice_Vegetable557
An emergency fund is for emergencies, not having one is an emergency.
3-6 months living expenses, in cash or cash like investments.
If you don't have that, you shouldnt have a card. Many of us our teachers here, I don't get how that would change anything.
Choice_Vegetable557
The math is brutally simple. If you do not have enough you need to earn more, or spend less.
Budget our every yen, consider additional part-time work, keeping looking for a high income position.
You should not have a credit card with your level of financial knowledge.

Isn't an depository receipt registered in that country though? 1557 for example.

Funds can be dual listed or cross listed.
It is a different accounting style.
A. Style 1: do the math in the background -> Deposit the interest
B. Style 2: Deposit out the whole amount -> Then subtract tax
In reality, nothing has changed. Do not be so freaking dramatic all the time.
