Wow thank you, I’ll keep sharing my progress 😁

ChrisIllustrates

It’s far from perfect, an experimental drawing small scale with only one pencil, I’m happy with the result and I would definitely spend more time and go larger and more detailed with one pencil in future 👍

ChrisIllustrates

Thank you much appreciated 😃

ChrisIllustrates

Thank you 😁

ChrisIllustrates

Thanks very much 😃

ChrisIllustrates

🤣🤣🤣 ok

ChrisIllustrates

Instagram? Or another platform where I can view your stuff I’m genuinely interested

ChrisIllustrates

Imagine for a second you actually tried to help me out in some way instead of doing whatever this is? I’m posting wrong or spamming? Then suggest what I should do on this platform? What a completely different conversation that would have been.

ChrisIllustrates

So Reddit recommends cross posting, but you have a personal problem with me doing it, why? I have nothing to hide my friend and I’m happy to help anyone who starts a normal conversation. I have my real photo and name along with my artwork which isn’t perfect but I’m proud of it and still happy to help when asked. What exactly are you trying to achieve here? It’s easy to hide behind an avatar and keyboard and spread negativity towards someone isn’t it? I’m relatively new to Reddit so excuse me if I’m posting incorrectly and what I’ve learned is it has too many keyboard warriors like yourself who seem to have nothing better to do, at least I’m willing to share my knowledge about a subject

ChrisIllustrates

😃

ChrisIllustrates

It’s abit dated now but still my favourite version of the character

ChrisIllustrates

I learn new things all the time from artists I consider better than me. Why can’t I help other people the same way? Surely for that reason alone it should be here

ChrisIllustrates

So I can’t post something and potentially help or have a discussion with someone who might be interested in how I’ve done something or the materials I’ve used? I myself still have a lot to learn, you don’t simply reach a stage of drawing where you stop learning

ChrisIllustrates

And the vellum paper surface gives it that grainy texture which I really like

ChrisIllustrates

Thanks a lot, yeah I do too, recently I’ve been getting back into the swing, this one was more of an experiment to see if I could get a half decent result with just one pencil…

ChrisIllustrates

Maybe you could teach me? Can’t seem to see any of your art using one singular 2B pencil though?

ChrisIllustrates

Could I ask why that is?

ChrisIllustrates

He creates his own reference images with the lighting, people in costumes which he then turns into the art

ChrisIllustrates

Agreed 👍
