That reminds me of one time on tiktok when someone once posted a video for a recipe and it was like 12 bean soup or something and someone commented “well what if i don’t like beans”. Like then don’t make it??

I know some people who once their child reaches a point where (im assuming) they believe they are potty trained enough they will punish them for accidents because it’s something they should know how to do and ig they think it’s deliberate at that point. Again that’s my assumption because i would rather not ask but that seems to be their general attitude around it. It’s definitely not everyone who takes the mainstream route but definitely a good portion of them.

I live in the south and I know plenty of white and black people who have kids like this. Permissive parenting is a problem everywhere

Actually in most states you can file for divorce while pregnant, it just wont be finalized until after the baby is born because there can be issues with custody, child support, and paternity that can only be handled when the baby is born. She could still fine now and then in 0-6 weeks when she has the baby work on getting it finalized but that’s still a long process within itself sometimes.

Yes, however that’s not what you said. You said that it doesn’t endanger a womans life and whether or not you decide to use formula, breastfeeding can still be life threatening. Formula or no it doesn’t change the facts.

Breastfeeding has a whole load of “side effects” that can happen, including nausea. One of them being mastitis. Some of the more worse symptoms are that it can give you flu like symptoms, go septic, permanently disable a breast from being able to nurse again, or even kill you if you don’t receive medical attention. Would you not call that life endangering?

Not op but Is this just to make sure the fit is right or are you saying to leave it there until baby gets bigger? Ive just always heard that you’re not supposed to add anything bulky to the child that could make the straps not fit correctly and am just a little confused

If you’re thinking about co-sleeping please look up and follow the safe sleep seven, it can help protect your baby. If you don’t want to co-sleep but feel uneasy about sleep training there are no/minimal cry methods, not all sleep training is CIO. It might be a tad harder since your baby is a little older but it’s possible if you baby has the temperament for it :)

Swaddling is not recommended past when babies can roll because it can kill them, sleep sacks might be helpful but they are very different than swaddles.

Someone else said that their house burned down sometime before this so could it just be that they couldn’t afford it with other expenses they were probably having to pay for?

Oh i know that, it takes like 18 months for your body to completely heal from pregnancy and birth and it doesn’t even look like she waited six months between each kid so her body is probably pretty bad in some areas, just definitely not to “slip n’ slide” extent

I mean it does to an extent but also it’s a muscle it can “shrink” back some on its own if you let it. It’s still a gross thing to say either way.
