We are to transit Russia from Georgia to Kazakhstan. What is the fuel situation in that region near Caspian Sea. Petrol and Diesel.

Can you explain further? I set it to 16°C and I expect it to maintain that or at least a +-5°. Not to have the inbuilt thermostat show ambient of 28° when I checked in the morning.

Try forget the technical aspects of images and work on your meaning. Ansel Adams said - there is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.
Slow down and stop before hitting the shutter. Ask yourself why am I taking this photo. What has attracted me to this scene. Is it the color? Is it the shape. Maybe the shadows. The texture. Then make the image about that thing. Cut out the clutter.
You could make a panel. This tells a story. Think, I’m going to take 3 photos of each subject from different compositions. Or 5. Or whatever. When you start being able to tell a story with three images, you get better at telling g a story with a single frame.

I never heard of them until an hour ago, but I reviewed some of their videos. Amazing story tellers and adventurers. I think what separates them from other ‘overlanders’ is they were also pretty hard core 4x4ers doing all sorts of insane rock sliding and fairly extreme 4x4 challenges. I think the majority of us don’t take those risks because we perhaps don’t have the skills, vehicle and want to travel with our home on wheels. Perhaps the risks they took was a contributing factor, one that the rest of us perhaps wouldn’t take. So, yes it crossed my mind about some tracks I go on, but I play it fairly safe to what they did. RIP.

Whole website has gone down. I suspect the developers forgot to renew cert. Hopefully up and running soon.

Yessss - it works. Thank you so much.
Citizen55555567373
Thank you.

Cool thank you

Drive in France or Germany and the OP would have moved into the next lane over anyway. Preemptive driving. Not difficult if you’re trained properly.

That was my choice as well. In Commando.

I have 320W on the roof and 120Ah Gel battery. Can last indefinitely in bright weather but this time of year would need to start engine every day for 20-30min to charge.

A lens is very simple and broken down into very basic parts consists of a peice of glass, an aperture and a housing and mount. But in order to fix quality and image issues another peice of glass is fitted. Then another to fix the errors on the first one. And so on. Even a simple prime can have several lens elements. Then there is the autofocus mechanism . Then the stabilisation mechanism And weather sealing. It all adds up and hence the larger sizes.
Have a look at some lenses from the 70’s. Small and such great performance as well.

Gaston was such a character and what a great chef. Too bad an unfortunate accident ruined his chances for being in the final. 😞
Citizen55555567373
Why do you really want that to happen? I mean, fuck’em. Let them believe what they want to believe. I don’t care to fix all of the uneducated people in the world.

I also have no idea what I’m talking about but I think it’s to do with the booking of the track and the support crews and everything around that.
Citizen55555567373
Some already have which is why I’m getting them the fuck off.

I overheard two American people talking about their recent holiday and one said they went to Australia and the other said ‘Oh is that the capital of New Zealand right?’
True story and no they weren’t taking the piss it was a genuine question.

Hypocrisy at the highest levels. These protesters all consume oil just as much as the rest of us do. The clothes they wear, the food they eat, how they travel to these locations. The glue they use to stick themselves to the road. Oil, oil, oil.
Food is great and cheap. I was in Bukhara yesterday and the restaurants are charging a lot. But get out of the city and I’m paying $1-2 for a good meal. You’re in tourist centres, they gonna hike it. Go where locals go.
