That's mostly because you didn't have Sherm and Earl back there as 2/3 of your cover 3/cover 1 defense. I wouldn't be all that shocked to see Jamal playing more deep middle than he did in NY and blitzing less.

ClearlyChrist

"only 11 minutes of actual play" is incredibly simplistic and ignores the strategies and gameplans implemented and adjusted between plays, which is what good commentators actually talk about during "down times".

ClearlyChrist

Going PG doesn't exactly ruin wrestling, but WWE's choice in PG programming absolutely did.

ClearlyChrist

Well the main thing I noticed is much less variety in the 100s of camera cuts used.

ClearlyChrist

And they make bank off of those fights. The Mayweather-McGregor fight probably helped pay for my local bar's renovations the following season lmfao.

ClearlyChrist

You literally just need to look at a list of RBs drafted since 2010 to see it's not nearly as easy as you're making it out to be to find even a decent starter quality RB in the 4th round.

Cook and Mixon were both 2nd round picks, with Mixon only falling thanks to a domestic abuse charge, James Conner fell because he had cancer, Tarik Cohen can't run between the tackles, and CMC was a highly coveted first round pick.

You might get lucky and draft Aaron Jones, or, more likely, you'll be stuck with a mediocre-on-his-best-day RB like fucking Donnel Pumphrey or Paul Perkins.

ClearlyChrist

Sports bars are like 95% of the revenue from PPV anyway. You have to literally pay per VIEW, so for every seat in the bar you have to pay the full price for the PPV.

ClearlyChrist

That's the Staced God to you.

Steve was also secondary coach at the time; It could be as simple as "Steve doesn't think you're prepared to play in this game so you're gonna suit up in case someone gets injured, but don't expect any significant playing time otherwise."

You would think the players would know about this, though, so I'm inclined to believe there was more to it than that.

ClearlyChrist

Yeah he just couldn't figure out how to get his players to be good little foot soldiers and stop being so undisciplined.

ClearlyChrist

Burkhead would have gotten hurt by his third consecutive game handling 15+ touches.

ClearlyChrist

He understands exactly what it means. He's saying Sony Michel is always a topic of conversation. There's literally a new thread almost every day about him.

ClearlyChrist

Sony injured his knee in preseason year 1 as well which has severely hampered his speed and explosiveness since then.

ClearlyChrist

He said he was looking for Hunter Henry to have a big game when he had literally been out the whole year with a knee injury lol.

ClearlyChrist

Yes he has lmfao. Even got Tony Gonzalez to block on a kickoff during that game. Pretty great story.

ClearlyChrist

Arthur Weasley talking to Sokolov:

Metal...Gear?

ClearlyChrist

Anything by Brandon Sanderson, but specifically the Stormlight Archives.

ClearlyChrist

Him too. There's a couple others I didn't mention as well. I just listed the first few that came to mind.

ClearlyChrist

I'm not saying the 7 men individually would have become megastars, but Nexus as a group would have been skyrocketed with even more momentum.

ClearlyChrist

The Nexus burial happened at Summerslam, not anywhere close to Wrestlemania season. If they had won that match the trajectory of the group changes massively.

ClearlyChrist

Yes Virginia Halas McCaskey! I knew she wasn't a Halas by blood so I didn't wanna put that name out there but yeah, the Halas family is also NFL Royalty.

ClearlyChrist

Yeah when people say Goodell answers to the owners it's naive to think every owner has the same amount of power within the owner's circle. The Rooneys, the Maras, the Bears owner whose name escapes me, Robert Kraft; those are the owners who have the real power.

ClearlyChrist

Time zones, fam.

Could be 4:30 lmao

ClearlyChrist

Rebirth of conspiracy Truth? I'm for it.

ClearlyChrist

I thought Dusty was the one who stopped his push at the time? I'm basing this purely off of this promo from his ECW days.
