I'm not even certain he was the best player in the finals that year. Best player ever is a wild take.
ClimateUpper8977
Luka isn't actually #1. I just couldn't fit lebron on the graphic since he is so far down and i had to scroll past the top guys.

ClimateUpper8977
Oh those are plus minus. I think he was referencing on/off numbers which calculates their net rating on the court. That's where he got the lebron was the negative player the last 2 season, databallr shows lebron was -1.2 last season. The previous season 2024-2025 was much worse, he was -8.7.
ClimateUpper8977
Don't know why its taking this long for them. We've screaming at the top of our lungs about this attrocity since week 1.
ClimateUpper8977
The false claim was Luka dogwalking Yaxel which is complete bullshit. The warriors having nobody at the rim to contest Kessler allowing him to shoot literally 100% 12/12 shooting might have a little something to do with them getting blown out.
ClimateUpper8977
He didn't dog walk shit. The Lakers dogwalked the warriors because the warriors sucked lol.
Luka was 1-8 against Yaxel and the only shot he made was a half court bank shot.
ClimateUpper8977
And the only shot he made was a half court bank shot. lmao
ClimateUpper8977
As if the half court bank shot actually helped your case. His numbers was ass despite that lucky shot.
ClimateUpper8977
Just out of curiosity, where are you getting the +2? According to databaller, the was -1.2 on 1830 minutes last season.
ClimateUpper8977
Thank god, i was sweating this all day. Exact same scenario. I was farming splinters in helltide. Got a second destruction splinter to drop. Couldn't stack them(this is so silly) so I popped the one in the inventory and then realized I had 10+ uncollected cache.
ClimateUpper8977
I'm referencing the "official" list. You can argue whether he "should" be on it or not , is up to you. He would be fringe consideration regardless. There is probably 20 guys like him who are deserving. Fact is he never had any success throughout his career other than his 3 year stint with Kobe.
ClimateUpper8977
Didn't know they only played 23 games in their careers. how dumb are you ? lol
ClimateUpper8977
In case you mean 08-09. I'll do the work for you as well.
ClimateUpper8977
If you are gonna use stats. At least be honest. 09-10 playoff
ClimateUpper8977
He was also a bit too heavy. There was no way his lower extremity can withstand that kind of torque for a prolong career. Its with most guys of that size. Its also why I don't think its definitely more beneficial for Wemby to put on weight as everyone is saying.
ClimateUpper8977
Yao was awesome. Nobody of that size has the shooting touch he has. Honestly think he can be developed into a stretch 5 in today's NBA. Obviously not as nimble and light-footed as Wemby, but he's arguably a better shooter, but the 80 pounds or so he has on Wemby is likely the reason he has so much foot issues.
ClimateUpper8977
Kobe played through the deadball era where scores were 77-73 routinely.
ClimateUpper8977
Pau has literally 0 accomplishments in his career outside of those 4 years he played with Kobe but he is some great player now. This is insane.
ClimateUpper8977
There is not 1 player in NBA history that won back2back championships without a top75 player on this team. Kobe's run from 08-10 alone puts him in the discussion.
ClimateUpper8977
sure buddy
ClimateUpper8977
Not MJ, but you can certainly have a conversation with everyone else. Not saying he is better than those guys but at the very least you can have a conversation.
ClimateUpper8977
how do these 2 compare to channeling?
ClimateUpper8977
Yes, you would know if you watched him his entire career. Outside of transition offense which he does excell at, he is a very inefficient scorer from everywhere on the court. In the playoffs when the games tend to slow down, this efficiency plummets. Pipp averages in the playoffs 44% from the field and 30% from 3 in his career and that goes down to 42% from the field and 26% from 3 in the finals. This is despite having maybe the greatest scorer of all time demanding all the focus and attention from the opposing defense.
Pip is also attrocious in the biggest games. He has played in 6 game 7s in his career and he averages 12 points on 35% FG and 19% from 3s in those games. Honestly, if Pip didn't play with the greatest closer of all time, we would view him similar to how we view James Harden, but we just slip everything under the rugg because he is a great defender and he is a 6 time champ.

he's already beaten multiple 2600 GMs at 11 years old, OMG.
