Really fun but team mistakes can snowball really hard
I think it's up there and joining the top two, with toa being in the trash can where it belongs
Coldstreme
in my 4-6 man teams we do something like this
2-3 people double ralos and just xbow/tbow it down to first phase, one hammer and "pog" the downed phase in melee or max/void tbow, should only take 2 down phases to reach laser phase. Whoevers tanking can step under every 5t and force a melee by juking to lessen range chip dmg.
make it shoot braziers while DDing praying mage (halves damage) while rotating to the next brazier until his true health (not shields) is exposed and dump ZCB specs and kill it
nobody sips brew or restore unless they mess up personally somehow
The only room where we use supplies is orc, and mayyyybe a little at jelly if errors happen. Then its just going to last boss and dying silly style

The components, particularly ram are probably a magnitude better quality with the microcenter one though, a lot of prebuilt companies use bad tbw/qlc ssd and even if its 6000mhz ram its CL48, though x3d cares way less about that (low single digit fps loss)

OSRS community has become way less cursed compared to 5-10 years ago, the last bastion of that shameful behavior is in the PVP community. Only recent stepback on dev part was cancellation of in-game pride events from captain $*#&eatinggrin, they were only set up and organized by a few devs anyways and did no harm. "Cancelling" it actually only fanned the flames from the undesirables as they saw it as a "win".
Coldstreme
Very evident the last time the pride event stuff happened, tons of very ridiculous bait comments and obvious brigading

As someone who loves and gets emotionally invested in baking & cooking for others it would be pretty devastating to have a partner an eating disorder that would restrict them from enjoying the food that I love to share/make.
Hopefully shes fine with it and the guy gets his vitamins somehow

Try to see if you can snag this, or reuse 1070 while browsing r/buildapcsales hoping for an nvidia GPU deal in budget
This should leave you with around an $800 budget for a GPU which should snag a 5070 or last gen 4070 TI/4070ti super used/openbox if balancing speed/vram or just get a 5060ti 16gb (somehow) if you really need the 16gb vram.

Edit:
GPUs from that local microcenter, so you'd buy the GPU & CPU/Mobo/RAM bundles in-store and order the rest online
5060ti 16gb $740 - https://www.microcenter.com/product/694811/pny-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-overclocked-dual-fan-16gb-gddr7-pcie-50-graphics-card
5070 12gb $760 - https://www.microcenter.com/product/706508/zotac-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5070-twin-edge-overclocked-dual-fan-12gb-gddr7-pcie-50-graphics-card
edit2: Prebuilt
5060ti 16gb, 32gb ram, 9900x CPU, 2tb SSD, $1830- https://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberPowerPC-Gamer-Supreme-Gaming-PC-AMD-Ryzen-9-9900X-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-5060-Ti-16GB-32GB-DDR5-2TB-SSD-SLCAI10200CPG/16143614810?classType=REGULAR&from=%20%20reddit
Warning though, the SSD could be QLC and not TLC and the ram is probably slow timings but its rough pickings lol, could probably take this logic and shop for prebuilts yourself too
For what its worth, the microcenter ram is 6000mhz CL36 for 12 first word latency, Gold standard is usually 10 first word latency, and a lot of prebuilt manufacturers will use ram that ends up 14-16.33 FWL
- : Another prebuilt, from MC, 5060ti 16gb, 32gb ram, 2tb ssd, 14700k for production work. $2000 https://www.microcenter.com/product/695058/msi-codex-r2-b14nvn7-440us-gaming-pc
If you can do the 500$ extra for the 5070ti prebuilt they have for $2500 you *should* but yeah
Coldstreme
They were also on amazon, sold & shipped by microcenter for ~220$ for the past month, I don't know whether they're still in stock though.
Coldstreme
Value for dollar is this unless you really want path tracing. 9070xt does raytracing just as well as 5070ti but since path tracing is "new" tech AMD has yet to engineer a solution for it this generation. Maybe next gen until they're up to par on path tracing. 5090 can barely do path tracing at 4k anyways and relies on frame filler to get "acceptable" framerates.
5080 is just 10% or 15% better at best for almost triple the price, idk if that would be worth it for you
Coldstreme
Just my 2 cents but
27 inch for 1080p is poor clarity for a main monitor. Honestly I would recommend people stay at 21-24" high refresh IPS for higher pixel density unless they need a side-monitor for productivity.
Coldstreme
in microcenter with membership discount iirc, not that its hard to sign up for their free membership but you did have to be able to go there in person and not order online.
Coldstreme
They blocked a payment to turn a 10$ off discount code to a 5$ one for me yesterday and told me to order again lol
Coldstreme
Told you they were gonna force this garbage lmao
Coldstreme
Tried this and didn't like it a while back. I don't have the same exact mouse but I use the back button remapped to ESC key to close bank when skilling though
I find using mouse side buttons jostle the mouse and make my clicks inaccurate for the moment I am pressing them so I don't do this for PVM stuff
Coldstreme
I think I remember central computers selling 5070's for like 480$ back when they would sometimes reach 530$ or 550$ msrp
I guess MC has some competition if you're in cali lol
Coldstreme
Im also net negative because all the new chars being EM scaling and basically "needing" lvl 90
Coldstreme
Most income for xp books is events and not much else. I think theater gives good materials but stygian even less (iirc) and abyss is basically just primos
Book Leylines are alright but it feels bad without the 3 (20 redeem) doublings, but it works in a pinch, same with mora. At least with mora farming though you can explore and get a decent chunk of change.
Coldstreme
You can be as attractive as you want but you cant change who you wants sexuality what are you talking about
Coldstreme
what if the guard tower just has a really thicc dumpy?
Coldstreme
5080 founders, 9800x3d, 32gb(2x16) 6000mhz ram(probably Cl36, doesn't affect x3d tbh), 1tb gen 4.0 drive, 360mm AIO with screen for like 2300$.
I was going to order it and sell the 5080FE and get a 9070/9070xt but walmart denied the order multiple times for many, only a few got through? OOS now.
If everything went according to my plan it would've been a baller system that might've even beat goldilocks zone builds for value
Coldstreme
If you could get past their automatic denial system through sheer attempts 😄 :c (I didn't)

Irons have to grind for any upgrade instead of having "Dry protection" in the form of being able to sell the standard loot they receive. If there's content you hate but need for an upgrade a main could just do a different piece of content and use GP earned to "Skip" the boss(es) they dislike.
Plus having to grind out other prerequisites can take tens of hours just to progress a little bit
Two exceedingly hours-adding caveats could make a casual player, especially one that doesn't do research, become to feel "Stuck" and no progress since they only play a little bit each day. Would be better for them to be able to have freedom, if they want to restrict themselves they can have self control and just decide to grind something out instead of buying, but forcing an account wide restriction is just a willpower issue.
Coldstreme
I mean as long as you're paying for membership IRL and not grinding for bonds its completely fine. The "Finish line" in OSRS rarely and barely ever moves. We're only just getting marginal zenyte necklace upgrades after a decade lol.
Usually newer content helps people in the middle of grinds/progression, like moons of peril.
Coldstreme
9070xt one is objectively better if you're fine not running extra programs while you're playing games and just coasting on 16gb ram until prices lower (they should but *when* is the question, some say middle 2027 but some are saying 2028. Corporations are hyping up "shortage" until 2030 to keep their faux price fixing alive longer)
Lately I've had issues with internet browsers & games both memory leaking at the same time causing stuttering with 16gb ram but If I just closed my browser everything would become smooth again. I wish windows 11 didn't take up like 4-6gb of ram with a hundred tiny processes.
That only leaves like 10gb for games & whatever. Which would be fine if memory leaks weren't so common. Games usually take up ~3-4gb of ram by themselves (personal experience) and browser usually takes around 2-4gb depending on how long you leave it up. Programs usually have different rates of "leak".
Honestly wish 12gb sticks were more common, especially during this "memorypocalypse" lol

Complain about the name and suggest two low effort and one edgy name lol
