It’s a brand new team with a brand new system and brand new set of coaches with the Historic UNC name on it. It’s gonna take time for things to fit together. Probably not all this season. It’s about the setup for next season and those after.

Possibly but also this defense is letting a lot happen. Bad defenses make ok offenses look great.

Na, UNC’s defense has been problematic. Players still trying to figure things out. It’s been UNc fumbling the defense rather than getting outright beat.

UNC offense is not good. UNC defense also very questionable at times. But also Charlotte is making shots that shouldn’t go in.

Looks good. From experience I know that the skin to hair transition can be a bit tricky. It can seem a bit abrupt and it looks like that here. (Chiang’s hair is skin colored and it makes the head a bit oblong). You’re getting there. Keep working at it!

My real concern is the lack of muscle on this team. Keita is gonna get bodied around badly. Samodurov doesn’t seem like a bruiser either. I can understand rusty finishing and defense and rebounding. Those can be coached. The lack of physicality is a big big problem for us and will knee cap how much we can accomplish this season.

This is gonna be a long season. This team is not gonna be a physical team at all. Just not enough muscle on the team. Crashing the glass and getting over screens can be coached but adding 25pounds of muscle cannot (within the scope of a season)

Yea he can shoot and drive. He provides a type of scoring we don’t have consistant supply of.

I’m at this game and I can say, it’s really obvious how thin Keita is. Man needs the weight room bad. Malone yelled at the guys for lack of defensive effort at the 3pt line and the defensive boards.

I’m at the game and here is my synopsis:
UNC without Isiah Dennis is struggling. We have a big problem finishing at the rim with guards and bigs. Our bigs are too weak to compete. We are getting killed off of screens leading to a barrage of 3’s for IU. That plus a general lackadaisical effort towards the defensive boards results in the halftime score of IU 41-29 UNC

I don’t mind AI tools to help with UI creation so long as content and the images populating the UI is human made. Having a tool to help build a better readable, cleaner, organized UI is a very good thing. So long as AI isn’t doing the creative work rather supporting a humans creative work I’m fine. I hope this tool goes more towards supporting and less towards AI doing the work.

Agreed on all counts. It’s very obvious that this is stemming from a predetermined style of play and sets. Not the random set ups from the Hubert era.

This team looks very raw. I see potential but it lacks the refinement to attack a defense at the moment.

I learned colorizing images from scratch about 10years ago for BICE. This represents where I started. With AI it’s a lot easier now but I’ll explain some stuff I do now to make it look a lot better.
1. All skin for 1 person should be a layer on its own. Use the selector tool (idr the tool names but there’s one that’s like a brush that will follow contours). Only select skin. Cut out eyes, hair, clothes, etc. when happy with the selection, create a new solid color layer from selection (bottom right typically).
Change the layer style from Normal to Overlay then pick a rose pink faint color. The color picked can be easily adjusted in real time and will vary by race and age.
2. Create a hair layer using the same process.
3. Create a clothes layer without buttons, ties, medals, etc. same process.
4. Create a separate blank overlay layer for the clothing/regalia and color as needed. Typically I hand color but it varies case by case.
5. Create a facial feature layer (overlay style). The sclera of the eyes need to be whitened typically. Careful how much whiter you go. Add color to the cornea of the eyes. Cheeks need the faintest of pink/blush as it’s natural. Likewise for the lips (varies by race). Under the eyes and nose add a faint dark grey-blue. (Folds of the mouth and winkles can also use a faint touch of this).
* These adjustments turn a colorization into something a lot more lifelike. But it’s difficult to get right. The only way to get better is repetition, trial, error.
6. Adjust saturation, brightness, contrast as finishing touches. Sometimes I’ll flatten the layers and add an internal shadow or satin, or both. This helps with depth and cleaning up some edges.
I hope this helps. Don’t give up as it’s a cool thing to see old images come to life. Simple portraits become big images with multiple people and vehicles.
I am not an artist, I’m a Dentist (in 7mo) so I’m amateur at this and there are better ways to do this. This is how I do things.

Why a 4R and not a LC250. LC250 has more versatility. Does the land down under get the J250 with the petrol engine or only diesel?
