Started as a physics experiment, but I cleaned it up and made it into a custom event (i.redd.it) [EventLab / Blueprint]

Then why did they add time attack?

I experimented with upside-down tracks in FH5. First person is required, the chase cam doesn't invert

Stop downloading tunes. Start with just a stock car, then start tuning it yourself. Just start playing with tire pressures, suspension, downforce, differentials, etc on the same section of road to see how it feels. Then you get a natural understanding of what the car is doing and how to change it instead of downloading someone else's tune that's supposedly fast but you have no idea what was done or what driving style it's made for. It will take a while but it's worth the effort.

I went to Walmart for my standard grocery run. 2 things I will never forget:

  1. The entire aisle of bottled water was GONE. Not a single bottle or jug left. Keep in mind, this is in a rural area of the country where most houses have their own wells and you're never more than a couple miles away from a large freshwater lake. I still don't understand.
  2. In line to check out I was behind a woman with a shopping cart filled to the brim with cleaning and disinfectant supplies, with the sole exception being a gallon-sized canister of cheese balls.

edit: shopping cart*

No definitely on MS Store. I know because on my old laptop in MS store I can see FH4 and dozens of other games I never downloaded on that machine. And yet my new machine only shows f'n Solitaire...

Except all of my games aren't in my library. All that's there is FH5 (which i searched the store for) and Solitare. I guess something is wrong with my microsoft store?

Hi,

I'm certainly not an audiophile, but I have an amplifier I inherited from the house I lived in in college (SWR LA15, from what the labels at least. Besides that I have no idea what it is) that I want to get functional again to play from my iphone. I know it worked a few years ago because it would shake the walls during parties, but I can't find the original input or power cable. Found a power cable from another device that fit and powered it on, and for input I found a Amazon 3 to 1 input cable (USB-C, Lightning, and 3.5mm to one 1/4" input).

Tried it and it plays music, but very quietly. My phone itself is louder. Had one brief moment where it went full volume, but it keeps being very quiet and inconcistent. So, bad cable, bad power, or just broken amp?

The most I’ve taken at once (back when pure caffeine powder was still legal) was 650mg mixed with a scoop of C4 and I hit the gym for 2 hours straight and did about 20 sets of pull ups as my “rest” between exercises.

Taking 50 times that amount, yeah I can see how they needed to go to the ER.

I’ve got a story to answer that question:

When I was 17 I woke up in the back of an ambulance in the middle of the night having no idea what was going on. As it turns out I had had a seizure, which was new for me. My first reaction upon becoming somewhat alert was not to ask what had happened or if I was going to be ok, but rather to insist I needed to get out of that ambulance and I was NOT going to the hospital. I started pulling taped sensors off my chest and yelling at the paramedics that I had no insurance and a hospital bill would bankrupt my family, and I would rather risk death from another seizure un-treated than have the unspoken shame of putting my family in eternal debt.

luckily, my mom was there and interrupted me to remind me that I actually did get insurance just a couple months ago because it was a requirement for high school sports, so it would be ok. Only then did I stop fighting the paramedics.

That wasn’t the last time insurance was an issue with my epilepsy. if the insurance doesn’t go through then a 30 day supply of pills from Walgreens is $3700. If that happens I just cut my medication until I can navigate the beuracracy between the insurance, my doctor, and the pharmacy to make sure everyone agrees I’m allowed to have the pills and don’t have to pay half over my monthly salary for them.

Or more generically a FWD car with high top speed. My PR in the Goliath in B class (a little under 15min I think) is with the Camry TRD with a pretty conservative tune just relying on handling and good top end. A power build would probably be better, but I'm not good at driving those.

Competitive_Melon

Exactly, an appropriate track for the Brabham BT62

just mess with them. I once got a message from a guy saying I couldn't drive and calling me "shrimp dick" and I don't know what I even did to him. Sent one message mentioning I beat him with a very non-meta car and he went off on me for half an hour. I was just laughing every time a new one came in.

Bench Press.

Been fit my whole life, I do sets of pull-ups with 25-75lbs additional weight, but for the life of me I can't bench 2 plates.

Throwing playing cards.

It may look like intimidating, but if you just get the hold correct it's basically a flick of the wrist.

had a dream where I realized I was dreaming. You how that happens occasional but then the second you make the realization you just wake up? That didn't happen and the dream continued.

Nothing special was happening, I was just in my apartment. So, I walked around my apartment fully knowing that it was 100% my imagination and criticized the version of my apartment my dream created vs. what I knew was correct (placement of furniture, how things felt when picked up, etc). I didn't think to go outside unfortunately, but it was really trippy knowing that I was in a fake reality my own brain created.

Found this our recently with a decade old Porsche. Took it in for a regular service and to get a couple little things fixed up at the dealer.

The bill was more than I paid for the car.

Short answer: yes.

Stupid amount of grip, especially on the front end, and you can make it competitive in S1 and S2

Nice job! I use this circuit as my test track for every car I modify so a few tips:

0:16 - 0:23 cut the hell out of these checkpoints, especially the latter two. Less distance traveled = less time and more conserved speed.

0:30 for this corner go a wide of teh first checkpoint, then try to cut close to the second as one continuous turn. Exit speed is critical here.

0:50 this corner is really frustrating, but you can use quite a bit of the right side dirt in your braking zone for a wider line into it. Forza physics sometimes turns a blind eye to having a couple wheels in the dirt when braking/accelerating, don't know how or why though.

Competitive_Melon

That's bad, but I think the worst is the Pugeaut 2015 T16 rally car. Little engine revs to 10k but you get basically nothing until 5k.

I've NEVER had that feature on (I'm a privacy nerd), but somehow IG seems to recommend posts specifically about where I live or am traveling. So, is turning off location access on an iPhone a lie?
