It’s such a gruelling process to get approved for adoption, so when sub-human scum like this slip through the net it just defies belief. I know people, particularly psychopathic ones, can be deceptive, but still. These are the exact people the system is supposed to be protecting children from. It’s just heartbreaking.

Please don’t waste your youth believing the lie that you’ve committed the unforgivable sin - this is what I believed and it took years of prayer and loving ministry to realise that I hadn’t. Jesus died to pay for all of our sins, and that includes ALL of yours. I’m sorry you’ve been hurt by church. They acted in a most un-Christlike way towards you. Your story makes me think of the woman caught in adultery. I pray that you will find yourself rooted in a loving and supportive community. Remember that when you are in Christ you are a new creation and you are set free from your past, guilt, sin and shame. It is finished!

God always loves us no matter where we’re at, keep praying and seeking Him. I strongly recommend the book A War of Loves by David Bennett, it’s the best thing I ever read on this.
