I have a house with white perimeter cabinets and a dark green island. I LOVE my island, kinda sick of the white cabinets tho lol

Seems a bit dramatic, you can just repaint the cabinets a different color without remodeling the whole thing. Also 2 tone cabinets have been a thing for years.

The actual feedback is painted cabinets suck 🤣 they chip and look bad quickly

Really really appreciate the detail here. Yeah she did mention needing to stabalize the fireplace. But I feel like changes to the plan should’ve been discussed with me and agreed it could’ve just been a the beam without the entire wall.

Also I should’ve mentioned there is a 3rd floor below this one, so the foundation is on more floor down. First floor is garages and a mudroom / storage. In the middle is the entryway (split level) stairs take you to the main floor and then the next run of stairs take you to the technically 3rd floor (where our floating wall is)

Thank you for the detailed response! I talked with the builders rep today (who insisted they’re building to plan and the wall is there to support the fireplace). She sent me this photo of the wall before the dry wall. But I am meeting with the construction manager tomorrow.

It is, they got really frustrated claiming they always build things to plan… so we’re getting our agent involved

Ours is the first version of this floorplan the builder has ever built.

Well they’re currently saying everything is correct and that floating wall is to tie in the fireplace. Still no response on if that structural post is actually missing or not. And no response yet on why that wall isn’t in the floorplan

I just started using Jupiter shampoo and conditioner for seb derm and idk about long term results yet but man the conditioner felt amazing on my scalp. Like sooooo nice and soothing.

I also changed the cabinets to a white quartz with cream veining. I’d recommend changing the sink too
