Agreed, the symbol is representative a process over time that has cycles.

I only feel confident in sharing what I have experienced first hand after practicing Neidan for a nearly a year now. The thing I learned ls that the whole concept of energy blockages happening to specific places for specific types of things is definitely a real thing. Or at the very least it is for my specific body.

  1. Early on I was working on getting rid of energy blockages with the help of reflexology points (a good way to aquaint yourself with feeling of Qi energy inside the body as a beginner by the way), so anyway so I was doing different pressure points over two months and after rubbing points or holding pressure for a while then relaxing I would get little shakes of the muscles associated with same points that release tension and excess energies being released through the Yongquon points. Pretty straightforward normal stuff.

Then suddenly, one week I unexpectedly started having a different kind of shake for almost every pressure point I worked on, and not that close to where I was pressing. It was my right pec and shoulder, deep shakes. I couldn't understand what changed or why suddenly I was shaking there only so I talked to Claude AI to try to find an answer. Claude found that according to the Taoist history that pec and shoulder shakes are releases of blockages caused by grief and loss and deep sadness, also associated with the lungs. Now, what I hadn't realized till that moment was that the same week those shakes started happening in my shoulder, was the same week my two closest friends, completely separately happened to reveal to me they were both having deep issues with their different partners, and one, recently married, was likely heading to divorce. So yes, I was literally experiencing grief and a feeling of loss and worry for my two closest friends, exactly around the time the energy release shakes moved to happening on my right pec and shoulder, which I had no idea had this association to loss and grief prior to that Claude convo. Also I did not mention the friend issues to Claude before in the log either just so you are aware. So that was the big internal energy system confirmation moment for me. And it arrived in a way that ruled out psychosomatic illusion because I had never read about such a specific association before it started happening like that. So yeah that is the best piece of info I can share from my practice with high confidence. I wish I could report deeper experiences associated with the later stages, but alas, I do not think I am there yet. I only feel glimpses of that sort of stuff when deep in mediation or Neidan practice.

Would love to hear what you found! :0

I left a huge insightful comment that is now deleted because I don't have 1000 karma to comment here? Dafuq is this mods? I comment here and related subbredits pretty often and this is the first time I have had a comment removed for such a ludicrous reason. Y'all should be ashamed. It is not easy to reach 1000 karma, QUIT CENSORING OUR VOICES, this is not a good reason to delete a comment. Ffs.

But then you look at it from the other direction, why do Ancient esoteric practices around the world all share that pattern of ridding oneself of the majority or all of the ego as one of the essential steps for Astral or Celestial travel? Ahhh. Same sort of thing the American Remote viewer #1 Said when describing their remote viewing process for the old now at least partially declassified and claimed to be ended Remote Viewing Program.

In the words of Dale Cooper: "Gentlemen, when two separate events occur simultaneously pertaining to the same object of inquiry, we must always pay strict attention."

Not a perfect metaphor for this but it is good enough. What a wild and strange universe we inhabit.

Edit: I want to answer you not to be sad, I think the truest parts of us as humans are here in the moment, free of ego that serves to pull you out of the present. I think of the ego more like constructions of unnecessary attachments beyond the simplicity of our inner nature. That doesn't mean you don't experience emotions but it does mean you don't over pontificate with them to the point of getting pulled away from your sense of deeper connection to the present. Hopefully that makes sense. Also for context I am deep into Taoism so that is the direction I approach this sort of thing from.

The style of this video matches the quality and weirdness of another one that was posted here months ago, that one also had the guy hiding in grasses and looked like in the style of a potato recording. AI is now my guess for both. Smh.

I find the Wudang Masters interesting, I think that a particular one that has given some interviews on YouTube has some very interesting views on cultivation practice that I often weigh against other views I have read about, his name is Master Zhang Zhishun if you want to search the clips in the shorts section, he is very specific and obviously has a deep knowledge of the variety of cultivation practices. He is from The Longmen branch of the Quanzhen lineage. The Longmen is by far the largest and most influencial surviving branch of Quanzhen so I assume most Masters on Mt. Wudang are also associated with the Longmen branch and teachings.

True, but also if people want to understand what that means or how it effects their life they could always read the Tao Te Ching to understand the nameless that Lao Tzu is pointing at better. Which is what I think OP is asking in the title.

ConstancySupreme

From studying a lot of the core works: the answer to this is pretty agreed upon: the everyday people should follow the Superior Way aka the specific Way outlined in the founding Tao Te Ching. I recommend the Jane English translation 📿✨❤️.

What are you even saying here? I am literally just trying to tell you that to have any sincere debate you have to actually fucking show up. If you write off your opponent as "insert tribal group here" every time, then you never debate at all. That doesn't mean you win. You are delusional, man.

ConstancySupreme

I'm interested!

*Who is the master debater.

I think it compatible if you only focus on Jesus's specific teachings. For example The Tao encompassing all can be seen as being equal to "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you" of Jesus. Also the basic Virtue that aligns with nature in Taoism does seem to align with the basic Virtues taught by Jesus. I also find it interesting the description of the Trinity in Christianity does seem to align with the "Three Purities" in the Daozang if you look at it the right way. But as for just about everything outside of Jesus's specific teachings... Pretty incompatible if you ask me, especially all the controlling, warring and killing bits, etc.

ConstancySupreme

I am believing it is fake until OP provides a good citation. People really post threads with gigantic claims with zero citations these days :/. Also the Daozang corpus (thousands of works) still exists and came after the Tao Te Ching so the claim of all later Taoist works being destroyed is 100% false.

ConstancySupreme

Actually the Taoists also had different distinct versions of "enlightenment" as well as afterlife ideas but In the Daozang. So it most definitely is not these ideas the debate was lost over.

Also I wish OP would provide a source for this debate claim in the first place. Also very sus that OP claims all other Taoist works besides the Tao Te Ching were destroyed when the Daozang is the literal massive collection of works from different lineages that came after the Tao Te Ching. Hmmmm.

Dude, if Reptilians are real then the part of their common lore is where they shape shift into those same evil Elites... So we may be talking about the same mfs anyways 🥲😭.

ConstancySupreme

Looked real until it sped off. The steam line behind it gave old-school cheap cgi fx vibes. Anyone who has seen enough shit cgi fx over the years will agree. If you zoom and analyse the video I bet there will be all sorts of tells around that moment of altering, especially if you zoom and alter the colors. Yes of course no ai signs but all sorts of pre ai hoaxer signs.

He hasn't been good since Peter Thiel had him over to his house and now he spews pro Tech Ai fascist narratives that align with him. Any time a guest brings up Peter Thiel he defends him too. Terrible.

ConstancySupreme

It just sucks cause he used to seem like the one guy that wasn't a disinfo agent. Now he is going on Roe Jogan slop podcasts like the rest and saying dumb shit like this. Smdh.

ConstancySupreme

I hope he is for this particular case. These things look terrifying and if even a quarter of the info in the ol Reptilian Conspiracies are true... Yikes.

But what has evolved is the same basic LLM tech from years ago, just with waaay more data thrown at it to make it seem more intelligent. Regurgitating and recombining information from a huge dataset still isn't AGI, it just spits out the combination of letters that it thinks is most likely to fulfill the prompt. Idk how much you use current AI but once in a while you get a clear example that there is no fuckin brain behind what it is spitting out. I was researching some cologne to order on eBay and I kid you not, a not even over tokenized Claude told me to not forget to message the seller to ask if I can smell it before they ship it out.

You see what I mean? It is fulfilling a word prediction but doesn't even have a basic contextual understanding of actual reality. I can't fuckin smell long distance. This is what is so scary about modern AI cause most of the time you don't get that tip off that it has no actual contextual understanding of what it is saying, it is just spitting out strings of words to try to please the prompt. But that is NOT understanding. So the risk is we entrust it to too important of tasks then it catastrophically and confidently gets a single IMPORTANT piece completely wrong but we don't notice it. Just like at the start of the Iran conflict when Claude confidently chose a missile target based on old maps and they ended up decimating an entire school full of children. All because nobody double checked if what Claude said was true in reality. They just followed it. It isn't evolution, it is remixing of data sets in a predictive fashion, and some of the data sets may be false, misinfo, or even disinfo.

ConstancySupreme

Somebody's gotta look 👀

ConstancySupreme

I actually disagree. There are way more subtleties to human cognition and creativity then simply taking in and reorganizing data. We are not like LLMs at all.

ConstancySupreme

They are better at reorganizing language to fulfill prompts. It is like calling a book sentient if it could rearrange it's letters. It still isn't alive. But if Mein Kampf was given task permissions I'm sure it would cause a lot of trouble too. Plus the best models are only as good as they data sets they have been fed on, same as it has been for years. It is a bubble fr imo.

ConstancySupreme

I prefer the term overhyped Large Language Models that are given too many permissions that allow for actual action in the real world.
