I had the opportunity to drive him to a local gas station in Hanover for some water after delivering a pizza to him from Ramunto's, Hanover NH.
We listened to White Iverson on the ride.
A surreal memory I still keep.

Edit: This is about 2016-2017 or so.

Corzok

Yes, sadly. It is just sad, uncomfortable for all, and embarrassing.

Corzok

This is horrible news.
I; no joke, just finished my shift at work listening to podcasts… one of his appearances on Whiskey Ginger, and I am literally listening to his appearance on the Stiff Socks podcast right now as I found this news out.
Weird coincidence aside; this is terrible to hear. Loved his music and character.

I've heard from someone that the spot has been purchased; and there are plans to open a new restaurant there soon. Presumably before the summer starts...

I wish I could remember exactly what food I was told the new restaurant would serve; the description I got was it'll be an asian fusion of Thai food and 'Chipotle,' like the ingredient and not the restaurant... as I've been told. It was somewhat broken english so I am only quoting what was given to me.

Rip Magic Chopsticks.

Edit: I asked and they said a fusion of Thai food, sushi, and Cajun food.

Did this person happen to have blue dye in their hair as well that you could see?
There was a VERY odd woman walking aimlessly; like an NPC, around the parking lot of City Market yesterday - 4/17 (Saw her at; maybe, 2:40PM~)
I saw a blonde woman in athletic clothing; the clothes were also blue, she was carrying around a mess of items in both of her hands. She first was wandering near Folino's before B-lining straight toward me from across the way; near the construction, as I was changing a burnt fuse in my car real quick. I saw her make that eye contact with me and shift her whole body toward my direction as she started to come closer. She didn't look dirty, but certainly disheveled with a really 'distant' stare to her eyes. I was faced away from her; down low since my fuse box is underneath my steering wheel, but thankfully have decent enough peripheral vision and spatial awareness. She kept coming closer, and closer to me until I stood up and made direct eye contact at her, awaiting some sort of script for some spare change. She was at my car's trunk at this point; 3 steps away really from me, but after I stood and looked at her (prepared.), she turned herself like a Roomba and began walking away toward the parking lot entrance area... after passing maybe 6 cars down that direction; they turned back around, going past me again, and down that slope that leads to the lower parking lot, also near all that construction in that area.

There was absolutely something off with this person; and your simple description of them sounds a bit like this person I saw, but she had some blue dye in her hair as well. She was very clearly acting strange. Never spoke to me, and I didn't notice any smiles. Just.... clearly saw me, came a bit close to me, before avoiding me and then leaving.

Maybe the same person? Perhaps just another character around the area.... I wasn't scared of her but she very much was someone I felt I needed to keep my eye on as she was wandering nearby.

This is insanely impressive; for real. I was happy to earn three stars on tunes with my pro guitar.

Kudos also to the developers that had to map out every song for the pro guitar controller. That must've been such a daunting task compared to the 'simple' mapping of 6 buttons.

Go to Namaste Kitchen Express on Riverside Ave. This is; by far, some of the best food I've ever had in Burlington, let alone just Nepali food.

Ask folks at City Market. There is an incredible amount of paper and cardboard that simply gets crushed and shipped away from there.

Occasionally the Red Square instagram page will post photos of people from the nights prior. Unsure who takes the photos or where they store the entire catalogue.

As far as I've read; late 2026 to mid 2027.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride is all we get.

Corzok

Believe it or not; I actually feel like it was MORE packed last year. Not to diminish tonight; it was absolutely filled for sure at the docks! But I felt it was very easy to get in and out this year versus the crowds you meander through when leaving in prior years. I remember being forced to get out of the road as we walked up the hill back into downtown… this year EVERYONE just packed into the street in a straight path back to their destinations it seemed (before cars slowly ushered their ways down toward the water). It made for a quicker exit I felt.

Also the food trucks were awesome; terrible lines! Great food and great people. Broccoli bar had amazing music once again

Good all around I dare say (even the mosquitos seemed calmer this time around)

They sound very much like fireworks to me actually. I live near the Winooski Bridge.

Did not sound like gunshots to me at all.

Corzok

This is interesting. I've begun to sincerely consider that Sarah George and whomever else decides to let loose a criminal; sometime multiple times in one day, is doing it on purpose.

I'm beginning to truly believe they don't want to get rid of ALL the drugs; let alone most of them.

After finishining my shift at City Market in downtown; I walked to my car parked around the corner of the building. Near the street where laundromat and small Ice Cream place is.

I got in my car and saw the top of her head bobbing up and down by my front, right tire. I got out of my car to see what was happening; sort of figuring someone was messing with my tire perhaps?
I turn the corner and just see her smoking crack; right there, in the open not giving a crap. She didn't even clock me standing there looking straight at her.

I asked if she could move so I didn't potentially roll over her foot or something when leaving, but no response. She was LOCKED IN on smoking the drug of choice she had (to be fair I say crack; who tf knows what she had)

I had to just leave after trying to call someone; hopefully someone came to check on her.

My point of this anecdote; I've seen her purchase drugs blatantly from the CLEARLY drug dealers that hang out outside the gas station across from City Market, near Rogue Rabbit and The Daily Planet. She'll never be better being fueled like that. It's disgusting.

Why do we allow open air drug sales so blatantly in that area? Any cop could sit way down the street with binoculars and just wait and watch. There's a few dealers (I think a few, based off of seeing a few people do hand offs.) You can also tell when someone gets a new 'batch' because there will be like 10+ groups of homeless flocking to get there, all in a circle, talking with one another like children at recess with a porn mag they found; showing their friends and hiding from the teachers. The dealers hang there all day, nearly everyday. This isn't just clearly a horrible thing for Tina, but every other druggie in this town, and everyone in town that has to be accosted by these druggies.

Anything needed to be approved by the Mayor just makes me feel like none of this will efficiently be implemented. I don't trust her to understand all that is going on, all the nuances involved, and I don't believe her teams are fully aware or capable either.

Cynical take; but I worry, what we'll get back "approved" are only plans that might address pieces of each issue, but it won't be the most efficient and logical plans. It'll end up having some good things planned to appease the public, and then just ignore or barely address other issues they don't want to manage.

And then once the plans are approved.... then what? We get given a timeline of their choosing and a roadmap of what they'll be doing? What's to stop them from saying, 'Yea so we looked at everything, it'll take us about 3 years to implement all of these changes.... but we'll do them! Here's the plan!"

And then a year goes by and things change, the world and priorities may shift slightly or perhaps public awareness on these issues slowly goes away.... and then they go back to focusing on things like getting raises for their families that work in government while simultaneously doing nothing about housing costs and ignoring businesses failing, seemingly (conspiracy here but) giving drug dealers the platform to sell their drugs with no problems (the lack of prison sentences or even arrests of the true problem people seem like the mayor and her team is encouraging these people to be here and do these things), making sure to make it much harder for police to do their jobs, and so on and so forth. Use the past 4 years as examples of what I worry we'll get right back into once the dust of this letter settles.

If the people living in Burlington can't be a part of the planning; even just to give a hands on, boots on the ground perspective of what people are going through - I don't see anyone in office having an idea of what is actualy going on and what to prioritize and do. They're in their bubbles getting raises. Even that one guy, Ray Beecher (idk whom this chunk is), fully assumed, "What these businesses are really upset about is they don’t want to see poverty." What a douche. Maybe what these businesses are really upset about is EVERYTHING THEY SIGNED OFF ON IN THE INITIAL LETTER SENT TO THE MAYOR.
Ray is the only vocal one, but I worry he has colleagues that share his delusion, ignores everything told to them, and instead come up with some nonsense reason why people MUST be upset. "People just hate looking at poverty! How rude of them, they should take their signatures off the letter to the Mayor just because they are being petty." Is how I read your quote, Ray.
I'm also curious; who were the four that opposed the vote? Is Ray one of them? And do we know the reasons given by the four who wanted to say "no." to the 170 businesses and their requests?

We'll wait about a month or two for these departments to submit their respective plans on the issues they need to address... and then we wait for however long it takes the almighty Mayor to approve the plans... but there is a chance she can deny them right? So how long would we wait after she denies them? Another month or two? And then she finally approves the plans, she decides ultimately "I like these." And then we wait ANOTHER 45 days for these departments to submit official plans and timelines? So... a minimum of 3 months before we can even consider how this will go?

Idk... Mark my words; I'll wait to see what the Mayor approves as a "good plan" in their eyes for these issues. Hopefully the people working in these departments that need to create plans will actually go INTO TOWN and speak with the businesses affected by their respective issue, and hear what they could suggest and take that into account. Instead of sitting in their offices.

Cheers if you bothered to read any of this rant.

This picture somehow, honestly goes hard.
Legit reminds me of Murdoc from The Gorillaz

Living in Vermont; this regulation is bonkers. Considering the frost heaves, the hilly roads and mountainous regions, potholes, literal dirt roads here.... there is never not a time where your car isn't tilted slightly at any given moment unless in a city or on the Highway (even then, it's SO hilly and mountainous here that nothing is ever purely 'flat.')

This is clearly laziness in the regulations that isn't being addressed yet 🤷‍♂️

I would think further boundaries about that "dark spot" in terms of whenever your car is elevated or Dipping should be implemented... easily too. A certain amount of degrees of elevation or dip with that light source should also make the headlights 'fail' the regulation test. They should test for these factors instead of assuming every road is a freshly paved field.

Where is this at exactly 😯 I'd love to do some wildlife photography.

Do you still go out the The Wallflower area with your telescope? Or do you do it somewhere else now? I miss stumbling upon you and the scope! What was its name again? Big Bertha? 😂

WOW
The shading amongst the sand is so good.
Great tattoo overall too!!

Mike Reynolds is LITERALLY outside the Downtown City Market right now bothering people for money. I can see him. He looks like he has some sort of cast on his right hand.

Everyone is uncomfortably trying to avoid him and he's getting a bit aggressive with how he's walking up to folks. Perhaps getting desperate for that next "dollar."

humans that SELL DRUGS AND ARE SQUATTING...

I swear to god you would've told the neighbors of Steve-O back in 2002 to calm down and just treat him like a human as well.
These same neighbors that Animutationman is supposed to just "treat like a neighbor" don't care about him, they don't care about you, and they don't care about the people they sell drugs too. They are literally the problem and this person has the incredibly unfortunate circumstance of living next to them. And you want him to be okay with it? Not even that, but to be friendly and likeable to these people? To be compassionate for people literally poisoning others and not doing a single day of real work for the community? They for sure don't pay taxes, and are living in an apartment they aren't paying for that perhaps a family that is out there actually trying would DESPERATELY need, rather than the drug dealing wastes of space that must live in that apartment currently, based on the description given by Animutationman.

It is unfortunate; but there ARE in fact bad people out there, period. No matter how much compassion they get, no matter how much opportunity is put in front of them to do good, there will always be those that just use, take, and don't bother with thinking of the concequences of their actions. Why would they when there isn't any.

I would hope that this person's new "neighbors" will eventually find help and get out of whatever disgusting situation they currently live in and the cycles they go through daily, but you're delusional if you think they'll stop being the actual worst people in this city anytime soon because their neighbor was kind to them.

I don't normally comment on these posts :'(
But your brick wall comment of ignoring their actions and telling Animutationman to just be nice to them simply because they're humans really got to me for some reason.

What about the concept that maybe Buu is the epitome of the opposite of the classic anime styiling of main characters/villians.

They always get bigger, stronger, buffer, and with more powers through experience. No one is DBZ becomes stronger without experience... Buu as a whole is the opposite. The more is takes power and evolves; the lesser it may get.

Kid Buu is like the copy of a photo before it is photocopied hundreds of times over. The original copy so the speak. The original copy always keeps its full composure and power; so to speak again, versus the 800th version of himself that has evolved, such as GoBuu or Ultimate Buu (when absorbing and becoming with Gotenks and Gohan)

He continues to absorb people and take them out; giving himself the powers of those he takes, but with the debuff of losing attack power, speed, perhaps intellect. Super Buu certainly is far more animalistic and LESS FOCUSED than Kid Buu is. This is exaserbated as he absorbs people; slowly before becoming relinquishing all of it to become Kid Buu
