It's not "free", Brazilians pay for 3 or 4 health assistances:

1. Public healthcare: paid through taxpayer money (also supports healthcare for those that don't pay taxes, for whatever reason).
2. Private healthcare for elected politicians: Despite their very high salaries, they also receive private healthcare as part of their package (something for which there are proposals to change. I wonder why they don't want to use the public healthcare?
3. Military healthcare system for the military and their families: That money has to come from somewhere.
4. Private healthcare: despite the public healthcare, the cases of medical malpractice and waiting years to be attended are frequent and non-exhaustive, so anyone that can afford private healthcare does so. I have a friend that's self-employed, he pays R$6K/month ($1,200/month) for healthcare for a family of 3. I have an elderly friend, retired, that pays R$1,800 ($360) / month for a very basic plan, to not have to depend on good luck with the public system.

As a Proton Unlimited user: Drive sucks completely, Docs sucks, Sheets was so half-baked that users actually lost their data, Standard Notes is not in the package.

Having said that I never consolidated into Google and have moved away from Microsoft quite significantly.
