I was very surprised when, after a few months of good food and TLC, he turned black and sleek. Black cats will sometimes turn brown when they’re not getting the right vitamins and minerals

They really are so sweet. My girls were called Tabitha and Tara. I think Tara was older than Tabitha because she was a lot more shy but she showed affection in her own way 🙂 I had an operation when I was 16. When I came home I went straight to sleep and when I woke up Tara was lying at the end of my bed. She wasn’t sleeping, she was guarding me. And once when I was sick with the flu I woke up from a nap and Tara was licking my hair 🙂

There was an episode of Criminal Minds where the local police thought some Native Americans were responsible for a murder but they couldn’t prove it so they called in the BAU. As soon as the team arrived they knew it wasn’t Native Americans who were responsible because the murderer had used rituals from several different tribes which is something the tribes wouldn’t do. They don’t mix rituals. That’s what this reminds me of. Ignorant people trying to make other people look bad but because they’re ignorant they don’t know what they need to know to be convincing.

He may never not be afraid. When I was a teenager we rescued a pair of sister cats. They came from a hoarding house, there were something like 30 plus cats in the house so they weren’t properly socialised and they never truly recovered from that. It took a couple of years before they were comfortable sitting on the couch next to us and even after having them more than a dozen years we were never able to pick them up. Just be patient. Talk to him. Act naturally
