It is mainly for style, but also gives a place to tie rope to if anyone wanted to. I have also thought about making accessories that attached to the grid pattern in the bars, but that is a ways down the list of things to work on.

When I was designing it, I ran a solid bar and a grid pattern bar through the slicer and they were within a few percent of each other in filament usage. I think the grid might have been a touch higher. I have thought about releasing the solid bars if people wanted that.

That’s a good idea. I hadn’t thought of that. I will have to do that for a v2 collar.

I assume you are talking about the inner profile that is up against the person. I can look back at how I modeled it and see how easy it would be to change.

Small update on this project. I have just published the straight bars for the cuffs. I full size range of oval and round cuffs is next followed by round collars.

The straight bars can be found here - https://makerworld.com/en/models/3249445-straight-bars-b-d-s-m#profileId-3682435

I hadn’t come across that in my research. I would love some input on the project. Is there anything from that system that you think was really good? What do you think could have been improved? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you have a small straight bar, then it forces the wrists together. The angled ones are more comfortable, assuming that is what you want. I am planning on releasing straights bars in several different lengths soon. Then you can print both and see which works best for you.

I accidentally had it on private. It should be public now.

Where did you get the pull up bar? Is it diy?

If you use heat shrink if it ever shows any sign of wear, you can easily replace it.
