Americans seem oblivious to how they act on the global stage and how they are perceived. America betrayed Canada, ripped up deals, threatened them with annexation, and repeatedly tries to punish them with tariffs. Canada has extremely good reason to hate America.

And America is literally hated by much of the world right now, but the fact that so many comments here lament the harshness of this vile woman losing her job clearly shows Americans still don't get it. They are still not willing to accept responsibility for what they've unleashed on the world.

The bailout required for Trump's failed tariff adventures in his first term didn't wake these people up. A treasonous attack on the capitol didn't wake these people up. A campaign laced heavily with racism and bullying didn't wake these people up.

They're just whining to the media while on their way to cast their next Republican vote. These people won't change. Buy from blue dot farmers.

I think we should drop both China and the US and align with Europe and Canada. It would be a very interesting geographic power block.

Trump is deeply unsettling and an America that voted him in twice is also deeply unsettling. Really chilling what's happened to that country, and the lacklustre domestic backlash doesn't inspire much confidence for the future.
