Another SJW who likes to pretend Veilguard didn’t do a terrible job of integrating queer characters as a regular part of the world. It was the most cringe shit.

Veilguard did not do a good job of creating queer characters as an integrated part of that world. That made them stick out like a sore thumb and tried to politicise it not for story, but for lecture. My best friend’s son is trans and he thought it was the most cringey shit he’d seen. I know a lot on here like to be SJWs, but if you can’t see the issues in this matter with Veilguard, you need to get your head out of your ass and stop pretending any criticism of these topics is taboo.

They make 3% profit. Hardware costs them money. If they can't turn market share around, being in hardware is just costing them a fortune. They can still make a lot of money dumping a hardware focus and focussing on software and services.

It is too late. They will not turn Xbox around in the home hardware space to capture market share and Microsoft is not going to continue subsidising Xbox hardware for years and years to come. I absolutely bet they'll whore the Xbox name out like the did on the ROG Ally to get other makers to create hardware for game pass to be played on down the track.

Microsoft itself just cares about profit. They don't care about hardware if dumping hardware down the track makes Xbox more profitable.

Yeah that's fine, but that comes down to engine and game design choices. But if your game won't run 60fps on a system, I won't be buying it on that system, no matter what the limitations are. It's just not worth my money paying for 30fps experiences.

Take BotW and TotK for instance. I skipped them until the Switch 2 upgrades because I don’t want to play games at 30fps in the modern era.

I didn’t say ‘the game how it is makes it pointless for everyone’. I said it doesn’t meet MY personal standards, so I won’t be supporting it. Completely different things.
