I'm finding this link funny because he was on the radio this week having the time of his life joking about their eagle mascot.

Near the end of series 2 Karl was starting an anecdote about his mam and a doctor but he got cut off. Always wondered where that was going.

Brighton

Cyberfire

They literally walk past a TfL bus stop...

Cyberfire

Any time I start to feel a little sorry for them, they pick up a decent run of form and their fans remind me why I dislike them so much.

Cyberfire

Every Nintendo/Pokemon pop-up they've done in London has had mental demand, a permanent shop was well overdue.

Cyberfire

Always thought expanding the stadium was a very curious move.

A couple of my friends are pure Gun and Ball Gamers, and they just buy the next console no matter what. Even if they could probably hang on for a few years and save some dough. I imagine there's a decent percentage of that demographic who are the same as my pals.

Cyberfire

That's a really good point. The gen may technically be 6 years old, but it really doesn't feel that way. Doesn't help that most PlayStation exclusives for 2-3 years into the PS5's lifespan were cross-gen.

Cyberfire

Lovely, now that I think about it I think that's what happened with Leicester? thanks for clarifying!

Cyberfire

Can the EFL punish them for breaking Premier League rules? I'd understand if it was the FA dishing the punishment, but at the moment this is purely a Premier League matter?

Cyberfire

Couple of easy cup draws will help it massively, but they keep getting knocked out of cup tournaments too early haha.

Cyberfire

There was post on X that called out the fixture list for our first 7 away games being difficult. You can take any sequence of 7 away games and it's tough, this is the Premier League ffs.

Cyberfire

Can't believe we let our title rivals smash us 3-0 the other week.

Cyberfire

Used to frustrate me big time, but it's been that way for years with this manager. I just accept it now as it won't change.

Cyberfire

They really were not happy with it

I had a similar experience last week, first time I'd taken the Overground from Clapham Junction in ages.

Followed the signposting to Platform 1, and like you, I then had to move to Platform 17 (missed my train because of it). Then a Windrush train arrived and terminated and they didn't announce for ages where the train will be going next, the platform was crowded and numerous people were asking each other what was going on. Turns out it was now a Mildmay train, and yeah it skipped stops mid-journey, my destination was not affected but plenty of people were rightly ticked off.

Cyberfire

We always seem to play them during a new manager bounce

Cyberfire

I had a similar realisation the other day with Real Sociedad

Cyberfire

Gonna be weird being 5 points off the top in April and waking up the next morning to see ourselves 20 points clear lmao.

Cyberfire

Yeah I don't remember it being super hated either, plenty of people were fine with the Dex. Just had the normal complaints every new Pokemon Gen suffers.

Cyberfire

We very recently lived through a pandemic and I can't believe so many people did not learn some basic hygiene etiquette from it.

Cyberfire

It's been that way on the Premier League website for years and always triggered me.

Cyberfire

This week has made clear who in the media are under their thumb, Sky and certain podcasts have been strangely restrained.

Cyberfire

This isn't the end of it, sure we will wake up to some more nonsense tomorrow.
