I’m getting a change filter alert now even though I just reset it a day ago. Assume it’s due to the high static pressure…

It was over 13 years old and the outside unit was rusting bad and starting to leak. Estimates were $3-4k to fix so we just decided to replace instead of having to keep repairing.

Pics were all taken at same time but on the thermostat you can choose to use the internet for the outside temp so all I can think of why it’s different.
Not sure what you mean by envelope but the house is not shaded at all. Insulation is okay I guess but original.. we haven’t done anything with it.

House is 2003 and can try and get some pics tomorrow. We don’t remember the Lennox cooling like this. I have a govee thermostat in the living room and the graph looks better before the rheem was installed. Hindsight, but I didn’t have a govee in the kids rooms so can’t say if the new duct did anything at all.
The friend is saying things like it’s hot outside and our windows are old, etc and should replace them but we had the same windows with the Lennox and it seemed to cool better.
The govee also shows the humidity a lot different than the rheem thermostat. Around 48-50 while them was showing 60-61

I don’t know if this could be some of the issue but the kids rooms were on their opposite end of the house with my office and going off a single duct. Their rooms were always warm and I believe what they did was ran a new duct to the kids room to get a straight path instead of sharing with my office. Not sure if that could mess up the air dynamics in the house. Kids room still feel warm…

Was a family friend that owns his own ac company and was supposed to be decent and gave us a good price on the unit. Hopefully we didn’t pay for something that we wont be happy with.
This was our prior unit. 2 stage
Air handler: Lennox CBX40UHV-036-230-6-03
Outdoor condenser: Lennox XC21-036-230-07

My brother in law does construction and deals with flooring and said what I was looking at was not good and we should buy nucore instead. Never heard of them and they’re about $1 more a sq foot. Which adds up if we are looking to do all the bedrooms/office (around 900 sq feet).
Is it really that much better than Costco? Specs wise they seem comparable.
Cyberm007
I would guess quite a bit more money also? Looking to buy around 175 sq feet and Sam’s/costco is in the $260-$350 range. We wouldn’t want to go much higher.

Added pictures to post for better visibility on current state of AC.

Thanks. Will check.
Cyberm007
Yes, it's on its way out. AC units don't last terribly long in Florida. Added a few pictures of the current unit for everyone to see.
Cyberm007
I get that I was light on details of the current unit but the current one is on its last leg and we'd rather get it replaced under our terms than have it fail in the summer with 100 degree weather and be without for a few days waiting for someone to install.
Cyberm007
Thank you. This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for... not up on all the different models and refrigerants.

All three have good Google reviews and a lot. 2 of the 3 look to be larger companies that have been around a while and the 10 year labor warranty quote (Bosch) is one that might be more of a personally owned company so dependent on him sticking around.
Cyberm007
That was my concern on parts. I did question the company on the Bosch brand and his response was "We have been working with the Bosch product for roughly 10 years. They are newer to our market. They have a larger market share in the Midwest, west, and northeast. Very reliable very energy efficient and quality of construction is unsurpassed"
Cyberm007
Thanks. New system is because we need one and ductwork is just because we've always dealt with the temp differences in their room. Figured do them both at the same time. 2 out of 3 of the quotes have ductwork on the pricing. Not sure why the other one doesn't since we did talk about it.
Cyberm007
Yes, it's time to be replaced. I've always heard 10-12 years for AC units in Florida. But either way, we thought it was going to go last year but it's lasted this long and we have a little money from tax returns we decided to replace it before it's Summer and it goes out. The unit in the garage is very rusted and impacted. Unit outside is similar and has a possible leak that was quoted $2-3k to fix.
Cyberm007
Thanks. Did you stop due to an issue with it or progression? My first medicine was Rebif prior to Copaxone and I was taken off due to liver issues so hoping I don’t have that on Vumerity.
Cyberm007
Just ran through this with my kid and found a workaround. We did a print to PDF and then had ChatGPT manipulate the PDF to convert it into a CSV that's compatible with Blooket and then had it randomize the answers, etc. You never mentioned Blooket but just use ChatGPT to convert the PDF to however you need it.

You're not being helpful though... arguing over what the symbol is normally means isn't useful when it doesn't actually mean that on the Quizlet site. They normally have an 'export' word under the three dots and the export button just shares the quizlet. That is all. He/she is looking for a way to export the Quizlet.

Mortgage interest was only $4,788 and property taxes paid was $2,107. My interest rate is very low. So well below the default deduction.
