Are the structureblocks themselves saved within the bounding box? If so, then when you saved the structure it saved the block as a Save block and when it loads it, the Save block is replscing your Load block. If you want to keep the block within the bounding box just change it to a Load block and then save the same area with a different Save block with the same name.
I hope that helps!
CyrDaan
You can use Structure Blocks for this by placing a Load block with the name of the structure in it as found in the Structure File page of the minecraft wiki. For example you can load a pillager outpost by using "watchtower" or "minecraft:watchtower" as the name. Or the desert temple with "desert_temple_1" or "desert_temple_2"!
Hope that helps!

I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately I haven't done any writing in years and never was very good at finishing any of my concepts.
CyrDaan
Is this something that people are interested in? Is the concept/process approachable?
I'm going to keep creating these tutorials either way, because I believe this idea is the future of Minecraft. I'm just curious if this is something that people also want to do.
Let me know your thoughts.

Wait this is so cursed...How do you get switches placed on each other?

Tutorials for bringing things to life in vanilla Minecraft with stop motion style animation of ingame builds and environment.
I always thought the one thing missing from every epic Minecraft build was the functionality of the things people build. So, I teach my viewers how to make their builds move (and work) like they should. That way the world they play in isn't just a moment in time, but rather feels like the living and breathing worlds they've imagined and created because builds of things that usually move should move, ingame.
tldr; tutorials on how to make blocks move, because windmills should spin

Well then, feel free to check out my tutorial videos. Link is in the comments on this post.

Haha, I only just now noticed that. It's probably from the shaders I was using.

Commissions? Idk, usually someone who is advertising that they do commissions.
CyrDaan
Oh, I see. No, I don't do commissions at this time, thanks for considering me. It's just not something I am doing. :)
CyrDaan
I'm sorry, I don't follow what you are saying. Although, I don't currently do commissions.

By using Structure Blocks that cycle through 8 different frames it gives the appearance of a moving flag. I've got a full tutorial in the comments on this post. I hope it can answer any questions you may have.
CyrDaan
Ikr! I'm hoping to increase their use for animations. I would love to see what other people do with animations in Minecraft. In the meantime, I'll just keep posting videos of my ideas. B)
CyrDaan
Anxiety? Oh no!
Good news is, you can slow it down if you want. Just change the repeater tick length to your preference.

For this application Structure Blocks are similar to the command block clone method but with one very notable difference: the frames do not need to be in the world for the command block to clone. Instead, the Structure Blocks read from a file to display the animation. This also means that animations (Structure files) can be moved from world to world a lot easier.
Also, the Structure Blocks use relative positioning instead of exact xyz coordinates, which I find easier.

Structure Blocks! My tutorial is linked in the comments.

I really can't wait to see more flags like these in more builds. This was done in Vanilla Minecraft with the use of Structure Blocks. The Redstone circuit is very simple, and the animation uses 8 frames, but you can use a few as 4 frames to get the same effect.
Let me know what you think. Would you use this in your builds?
Edit: This works in Java (and Bedrock with some easy changes to the noteblock/observer mechanism)

The cottage details look so good and it's in a great setting. Good work!

I've always wished to keep the same world for years. This builds are beautiful, the connection with your son is wonderful. I love the music selection for this video as it really shows the love you have for this world and the memories made in it. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thanks for sharing! I'd be interested in reading more about this character and the situation they have found themselves. Now for my critique:
Unfortunately, I skimmed over all the exposition at the beginning, spacing out after the first sentence. Conventional wisdom dictates to avoid the exposition dump and jump straight to the action. Consider this as an alternative:
Tombs. Ruins. Remains.
“I regret this already.”
“Grrrr”
Standing in front of a massive grey wolf the size of a house, Locke could feel the regret gather in the pit of his stomach, along with some bile which threatened to rise up.
Characters and situations tell a story. Exposition describes a setting the way a history book would, its not engaging and everyone has heard it before.
Worldbuilding is great but use it to push the action and story forward, dripping bits and pieces as you go. The mystery is enticing to the reader and it will engage them more if they seek out the info rather than being force fed it before they are invested in the story.
I hope this helps. Don't throw away your hard work. Keep working on it and sharing it with others. That's the only way you will improve.

Neat design! Very dynamic building with lots of cool things. I like it all!
CyrDaan
Looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see what it looks like!
CyrDaan
Nice lookin build!
I think the only issue here is that the walking speed does not match the animation speed so there is a lot of sliding in each step. I think you will find that with the right speeds dialed in that this will look so much better. Based on what I see here, I think if you reduced the movement speed and leave the animation speed it'll look great!
