It's really easy to define actually! XX = female, XY = male, any deviation, hermaphrodite or some form of genetic disorder. Not in a negative way, that's a biological fact. Where did you get 15%? It's about 0.02% of the population born with ambiguous sex organs, or 1 in 4500.

The trans movement isn't about those people though, it's about males and females who want to dress like, act like, and be considered members of the opposite sex. But it shouldn't extend to sports, and definitely not medical care. The fact that doctors offices now allow people to choose their sex on their intake forms is a problem.

Doctors are humans too. Just because they have a medical degree doesn't mean they know everything about everything. Science doesn't always have consensus. Doctors specialize and a medical doctor is not the same as a psychiatrist either.

We need to protect children from insane ideas with permanent consequences, not usher them into the hands of doctors who have their own motives and political standpoints.

I'm all for any bill that prevents encouraging children to transition and makes it illegal to offer any sort of elective surgery or drugs to anyone under 18.

Once you're in your 20s you can go ahead and do whatever you want, but kids shouldn't be encouraged to be trans when they're still going through puberty. A lot of kids go through phases and things may change as they age, but if the adults they look up to encourage it, they're more likely to make those life altering decisions.

Just as an example, there are a group of people on the west coast who had a ceremony where when women come of age, they'd be secluded and raped by a masked individual. Kwakwaka'wakw is their name if you're curious to read more about it.

There were lots of interesting and diverse cultures throughout the world. Indigenous Canadians had what some would call savage practices. So did many of the Europeans who came here.
