It costs me 50p + a further 50p/minute to call a VoIP phone at one address from a VoIP phone at a different address. It's the same price as calling an analogue landline. But I can call either phone from a mobile for free, with a lot more infrastructure involved. I'm already paying for both internet connections, why does the traffic over them cost that much extra?

So how do you contact the business? Carrier pigeon?

"GCSE" (which unless there's another is the exam teenagers do in the UK) and "semester" in the same post? Has everyone suddenly turned American?
DDFoster96
Are you the same person with the 4 letter word captcha the other day? What a coincidence that would be.
DDFoster96
I wonder if they vibe coded the certificate creation and the AI didn't realise the xkcd code snippet was satire?
DDFoster96
But topiary is not architecture.
DDFoster96
Who? Am I supposed to know who this idiot is?
DDFoster96
Who writes reactivate with a hyphen?

I didn't realise Office Basic came on a CD. I thought it was bundled with Windows and if you'd got a CD copy it'd be Office proper.
Were people seriously going out of their way to install Office Basic?

So will the celibate rich avoid paying tax?

This is the opposite of nominative determinism, since with that surname he should be a criminal.

I have the same problem but haven't found a solution.

In my experience journalists are badly inaccurate about everything.

The 0.7% Yellow must be Peugeot 208s (petrol or electric) as every one I've ever seen (including ours) is yellow, except for some guy's profile pic online which is blue (perhaps the one and only).

Felicity with her laser eyes will certainly be better at quality control that the other Ubuntu mascots. Might help cooking the pizzas too.

Did he previously work at GitHub, as they don't seem to know either?

I'll have to try that. I saw video of alternative technique using two axles and a "hand" piece to apply force from a similar angle. I tried and it eventually worked but was very painful on the hands. Brick separator can't be any worse.

What happens if you don't own Among Us? Does it silently purchase it?
DDFoster96
So unlikely it'll be able to spell AC/DC then?

I only learned you could save Roebuck about 10 minutes ago, and I've been playing the game on and off since soon after launch. I thought his death was scripted.

I miss the time when acts of parliament started with a page or more of Whereas this, And whereas that, And whereas something else, May it therefore please Your Majesty etcetera.
Bonus points when each section starts And be it further enacted, That something something something.
This is why the obscure Burslem Markets, Lighting and Police Act 1825 is my favourite. It must have one of the longest sentences most people have ever seen, starting in the middle of one page and running to the middle of the next.
The King's Printer also graciously provides catchwords which greatly aid reading and I wish were still a thing in books in 2026.
I think I would like to be transported back 200 years.

Don't download the old launcher either. Don't touch Epig with a 10 foot pole.

I guess the first telephone equipment happened to be 19 inches wide, and the rack was made to fit it. Everything else then had to fit the existing racks.
