UK Pledges Record $13.3 Billion to Ukraine, Including Air Defense Aid

'Britain has announced more than £10 billion ($13.3 billion) in additional financial and military support for Ukraine, including emergency funding for air defenses ahead of winter, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The package includes £7 billion ($9.3 billion) in economic support over three years and an additional £3 billion ($4 billion) in British export-finance capacity, primarily intended to support military equipment deliveries.

The UK government also announced £500 million ($665 million) in additional military assistance to address urgent gaps in Ukraine’s air defenses this winter.'

Good to see a record pledge from my country at a key time for Ukraine. Hopefully this kicks off another round of funding for Ukraine to help them with 27/28
