Many parts of the game before this show that shooting it with anything other than the Requiem (an insanely powerful revolver that the journalist is not using) does nothing but make the monster mad, and even the Requiem only stuns it for a few seconds. Anybody who was paying any sort of attention to the game prior to this moment would know this. This is another Cuphead tutorial situation. Basic game knowledge can get you through these sections without issue. I’ve never lost in this section across all of my playthroughs on all difficulties
