That’s an employee that went out for a smoke break

I transitioned socially around 16. Met my now wife at 17.
1) met after social transition but before medical transition
2) married and starting our lives as 20somethings
3) yes
4) absolutely
5) yes we want kids and (assuming there’s no fertility issue) she will carry the children
6) life is good! She’s in grad school, I’m scouting for a grad program that will take me. We both have jobs but want to move up in our fields.

Life is soooo much more than being trans. Honestly since I’ve been on T for about 5/6 years and am 4 years post-top surgery, I forget I’m trans most days. I’m literally just a guy going about my life.

I’ve been saying ‘bits and baubles’ in a terrible british accent with my wife

Nah this is a pride parade

I’m so glad they caught it early dude

Also it may be worth talking to your doctor about getting a one-time dose of anxiety meds like xanax

The way that I see it is I would rather deal with brief dysphoria about getting screened and catching a problem early than deal with MORE doctors and MORE treatments of the area later. Like if I do end up having cervical cancer, I want to find out as early as possible and have fewer doctors going in there than if I waited and it progressed and more doctors have to be consulted about my bits.

The key is to find a doctor that is affirming and educated about trans healthcare. Your doctor doesn’t even need to necessarily talk about your genitals. My doctor asked me if I wanted her to talk me through the steps as she’s doing them and I said nah. Then a minute later it was done.

Also, you are worth taking care of your health. Even if you don’t like the plumbing, it can still hurt you so you need regular maintenance.

I, personally, would be uncomfortable if someone referred to me as trans masc because I’m a binary trans man. Trans masc in reference to binary trans men feels like a way to soften the identity and make it seem more palatable to the feminine side of the queer community. I know that so much of queer culture focuses on femininity and flamboyance (which I love, don’t get me wrong) but it feels like a lot of trans men are excluded from said queer spaces when they want/bring a strictly masculine presence. I know it’s so nuanced and I’m just talking out of my ass at this point but idk

I can’t remember the redditter who said this about some other question but I quote it all the time; “you can do whatever you want forever.” Some people will say that labels don’t matter at all, just do what you want. Others will find a label that makes them feel seen and understood. You could just consider yourself ‘queer’ and leave it at that while you figure yourself out (or indefinitely). I’m happy for you that you’re learning things about yourself.

After my surgery I had some bumps with whiteish clear thread poking out (really gross) but the gremlin in me couldn’t help but pick at them (I do not recommend this) but that’s probably what it is. If you’re worried, talk to the surgeon’s office. They should be able to explain things they see a lot or take a look at things you find concerning. There’s no harm in asking the doc about something on/in your own body.

I cycle through outer thigh and buttocks so I go about 4 weeks before injecting into the same place. I used to do abdominal subQ with Xyosted and now I have two lumps on my abdomen so I really need to cycle between sites

Deabomeabo

I have never heard of a he-hole but that’s great

Jokingly: peepee, peenar, weenie Sexually: dick

Deabomeabo

You should only wear it for 8 hours a day. Never sleep or do strenuous exercise in it. Take care of yourself!

Deabomeabo

Idk I think T makes people sexy and gives them a fat ass but that’s just based on personal experience.

I completely understand the dysphoria about that. In my experience with my wife, it makes me so euphoric to have sex in that way because it feels ‘right’ to me. I know that sex doesn’t have to mean penetration like that I just like doing that. Maybe consider the strap on to be more of a pleasure tool and extension of yourself rather than something you’re ‘lacking.’ This is 100% my perspective as someone who has worked really hard to process dysphoria and actually start to love myself BUT maybe a shift in thinking could help…? He wants you to fuck him. He wants you the way you are. That being said; if you’re genuinely uncomfortable with the whole idea then there are other ways to pleasure each other without that. But if you’re open to doing that then maybe taking steps to think of the situation differently could help. It took me a long, long time to realize that I deserve to feel good with the hardware that I have. The relationship is about both partners being intimate the way they are. Obviously he is attracted to you how you are so maybe try to take that to heart.

Pretty much as soon as I got my first boxers

Deabomeabo

I had that issue too. I see a lot of people recommending insertable E tablets which is a good idea but my issue went away with lube

I used to think I was asexual (asexual people are valid but I mistook my dysphoria for being ace) but I was def attracted to people but the mere thought that any other human being would interact with my gennies made me incredibly uncomfy. I told myself that I just want to do things for other people and don’t want anything for myself

True story from college: this was pre-T and non-passing I was in intro to biology and we were talking about fetal development and the professor had me stand up and said “every human starts out developing like her” and then had a cis guy stand up and said “males then develop like him” Really fucking weird way to explain that every embryo begins developing as a female

One time at work I went to the single stall men’s bathroom and I knocked on the door (as you do) and nobody answered so I opened the door and there was a guy taking a piss and he went “OH HEY DUDE COME ON IN”
