He'll be in large patch of black forest. If you have any Elder locations, you can search near those as they also tend to be in large patches. Also, if you've found Hildir (shirt icon), talk to her to get the dungeon locations, and you can search near the smouldering tomb locations as they also tend to be in large patches of black forest.

Tomorrows headline will be "ICE warns women are pretending to be furries to catfish and dox FBI agents."

The meta doesn't form for no reason. Unless you're planning to eliminate someone and are actually capable of it, early attacks can cost more in the long term than they're worth. Doing significant damage to someone and not finishing the job means you have to deal with them trying to drag you down with them. This is also compounded by the fact that one of the other 4 players can offer just enough support to your target to keep them alive knowing that being a drag on you takes you both out of contention.

With all that said, the way you push back on a meta like that is to take advantage of it. If nobody wants to start fights, then just grab Mecatol early, grab Mallice, go for the fracture relics and point. Take both equidistant systems. Know where your tables meta "draws the line" and get as close to it as possible without going over it.

What if Russia is counting on people to reach the same conclusion at you that they couldn't have done it. That way it gets blamed on Ukraine and Russia wins, therefore Ukraine couldn't have done it.

DeceptEmotiCon

He also tries to blame Obama and Biden for not fixing it, but if my memory is correct, there was another guy who was president in between them. Wonder why Trump isn't blaming that guy for not fixing it either.

DeceptEmotiCon

Trump only gets involved if he can benefit. Ben isn't going to donate money to him or his campaign, but BaM might, especially if things look bad for them. Trump will then talk about how they've been treated unfairly by a witch hunt. He's done it before with others convicted of fraud (see the Nikola founder for an example). All that said, i would suspect that its more likely that his admin just doesn't get involved at all.

If you're counting value as difference between primary and secondary, then trade drops to 9 (since the same 3 comm faction can usually get 2 off the secondary with an x-1).

Structures are roughly valued at 3 I think, so construction is worth 6 in my opinion.

Others, like diplo are harder to quantify. Round 1 using it for one of the spend 5 or tech skip expeditions is pretty good.

Oh right hearts isn't a trump card

DeceptEmotiCon

A hand with any 5 other hearts steals at least 1 point from this

If i need an extra planet for an objective and my choices are the player with their whole fleet in their slice waiting for something to happen or the player who has committed a large part of their fleet to eating a neighbor, I'm choosing the distracted player. one, they will have a harder time fighting a 2 front war and 2, i don't really draw any aggro from attacking a player who is already being aggressive. If i need a target for a mean action card, the player is eating another slice is generally a safe target and i might even get the player who's slice they are eating to pay me for doing it. I also will help keep a player who is almost eliminated hang on for just a little bit longer if it means they keep tieing up the player attacking them. None of that is because i think space risk is morally wrong, but targeting a space risk player gains me almost no heat. All that is to say that the cost benefit is not always as simple as whether you have more plastic than them. If you think you can finish the job and don't expect another player to capitalize on the war, go for it.

If you put on enough bear spray beforehand, they'll leave you alone.

My favorites are Prey, Timeline, and Sphere.

If you think speaking intelligently is a requirement to be president, I have some bad news for you.

Not blaming the party that is causing this is why its not getting fixed.

I grew up in a different part of Carroll County, so am a little familiar with the area. I did some more digging, and it seems that in 2024, Ossipee (979 for Harris - 1693 for Trump) is the main reason for the district being red. Tuftonboro (900 for Harris - 1070 for Trump) and Wolfeboro (2385 for Harris - 2381 for Trump) are closer to center. Wolfeboro especially votes for Harris in 2024, but voted Republican in the Carroll district 7 race (2128 Dem - 2397 Rep), meaning almost 10% of Harris voters didn't bother to select a state house candidate, while a few even voted Rep. I can't find a breakdown on yesterdays race by town, but am curious if voters are taking a more serious look at local candidates now or if Ossipee just didn't show up in high enough numbers this time.

Don't get complacent. These swings are all good, but some is due to lower turnout in special elections, and this one specifically is partly due to how smaller NH districts are. In 2024, Trump got 5144 votes to Harris' 4264. In this election, the Dem got 2207 votes against the Rep's 2042 votes, so it doesn't take much to swing these elections. The number of places this is happening a good indication, but people still need to vote.

Greely was an American expedition in 1881-1884. Alert was involved in the rescue for that, but the 1874-1876 expedition OP listed was the British. Greely did surpass the British mark, but also lost a lot more men up there.

The rules technically don't specify how to handle the multiple abilities, but the common interpretation is each use reopens the window for the other players and windows only close when all players pass in a row, just like your example of the AC in agenda phase (in fact there is no special exception that permits this for AC in agenda, so every window window would work the same).

DeceptEmotiCon

Both players can reduce numbers of hits in the same window (before hits are assigned). Active player would go first.

Scenario A: Barony is active player and they use sustain to cancel the 1 hit. Sardakk then uses sustain to cancel 1 hit and produce a new hit. This new hit kills the barony mech.

Scenario B: Barony is active player and they initially decline to use sustain to cancel the 1 hit. Sardakk then uses sustain to cancel 1 hit and produce a new hit. This new hit is added to the pool of hits, and priority passes back to Barony, who can then trigger sustain and cancel both hits, saving the mech.

Scenario C: Barony is active player and they initially decline to use sustain to cancel the 1 hit. Sardakk then also chooses to not use sustain to cancel 1 hit. This moves to the assign hits window and both mechs are destroyed. (If Sardakk is not active player, they are likely defending and might be happy with a for sure draw instead of a maybe loss).

Scenario D: Sardakk is active player. They choose to use sustain, cancelling and producing a hit. Barony uses sustain to cancel both hits.

Scenario E: Sardakk is active player. They choose to not use sustain. Barony also chooses to not use sustain. both mechs die (Barony might choose the draw as non active player)

Scenario F: Sardakk is active player. They choose to not use sustain. Barony chooses to use sustain. The cancel the first hit. Sardakk then gets priority back and uses sustain to cancel the hit and also produce killing the Barony mech.

If Barony is aware of the outcomes, they likely dont let A or F happen as the other outcomes are better for them than losing (unless they just really need the TG from their commander).

+3 if youve taken Elysium w/ hero attached and are using space cannon in that system

"The FCC chair just said that Kimmel might be crossing the line into Libel and Slander"

The fact that you have to lie about what the FCC chairman said shows that even you think he went too far. The only way to make it acceptable is to pretend he didn't actually say it. If you honestly believe what he did is acceptable, then you should own it and state what he actually said. It'll make your argument stronger than trying to downplay it.

He threatened ABC's license and said "we can do this the easy way or the hard way" referring to ABC removing Kimmel or else the FCC would force them to.

You don't have to take my word for it, you can watch for yourself. https://www.foxnews.com/video/6379711095112

The current vice president called Trump America's Hitler back in 2016. Was he trying to get him killed?

I think there is a difference between a country restricting all immigration and a country using a persons color to restrict some immigration. The fact that he phrases the issue as "Poland wanting to remain white" as opposed to "Poland wanting to remain Polish" highlights the difference.
