There’s been enough instances where some reruns have outshinethe upcoming unit.

A recent example is Wuthering Waves where Lynae’s rerun did better than Sigrika

I gave him an imbue elemental ring and he’s been great going through the story, hasn’t left my team.

That said, I don’t use him beyond that so I don’t know what his endgame function will be like.

I want my other characters to drive instead of always the MC

Some are so bad you’d think they were crazy for releasing them.

Then some are so good I keep playing even after I collect all the rewards.

It beats the alternative though, where gacha game events are so boring they become a means to an end (getting the rewards then never touching it).

If I have to deal with a few events that suck, so they can keep experimenting and eventually giving us a fun event I’m gonna take it over the mundane.

On mobile even at max traffic no one showed up 😓

They need to fix that for mobile because even with max traffic density I only saw the new characters.

I missed out on a lot of dialogue, thinking I found everyone…

Which is weird because there’s like 50+ NPCs in Pukaland so I dunno why I can’t see everyone here.

I can’t do it consistently on mobile 😅 sometimes it just ain’t copying BB’s skill.

That said I do love your suggestion, I was able to pull it off a few times, and it was either matching or slightly ahead (1~2s) of the one in the post.

I play on mobile, and the game can be very wonky and annoying in some regards.

I’m currently testing right now, copying is too inconsistent for me. If I press Ultimate too soon after the skill, it doesn’t copy.

In fact some things can’t be done on mobile but can be done on PC.

For example, Daffodill on PC can trigger Phantom step during Linko’s Synced Strike, but not on Mobile, I tried it a lot and it just ain’t working 😩

Hi there, I said in the post that it’s an early in Akane release and the one I’m sharing is the one that’s performing best.

That said, Your suggestion won’t get BB’s skill copied.

BB’s skill only gets copied towards the tail end of her skill animation, if you use her skill, then her Ultimate too quickly it doesn’t get copied

If we wait to make sure it’s copied, we lose on the 5 second timer for Akane’s E.Skill to get copied, since the Support Skill Animation is already consuming a lot of time.

In addition, you’re sacrificing the part of BB’s combo that does a significant amount of damage, if you drop that to have a beefier Akane Ult.

To your credit though, I did try this out before, and I’ve tried it out again now at level 80.

And my result is I’m having the same clear time.

It would definitely be faster, but the small downtime after BB’s Ult where Akane needs to build energy is slowing it down.

If you have a suggestion to clean up that part I’m all ears.

But right now I’m leaning towards the one in the post, since it copies Bb’s skill, which will be a factor in content outside BTR, and when they’re not shilled.

If you’re interested in playing any of other FFs, I recommend you just skip the dialogue everytime you pick up a vision.

They kind of spoil major plot points.

That said, even if you don’t, I think it’s ok.

Having the knowledge from those spoilers, recontextualizes the stories akin to watching Star Wars prequels before or after knowing who Darth Vader is. Both experiences can be valid.

It’s immediately replaced by the skill used afterwards.

So what happens is,

Hotori Skill

Sakiri Skill (copied)

Blackbird Skill (copied)

Akane Support Skill (copied)

Akane Enhanced Skill (replaces the copied Support Skill)

Assuming you do it all within 5 seconds.

So you end up with Sakiri Skill, Blackbird Skill & Akane’s Enhanced Skill.

I’m clearing BTR in under 40s with a level 70 Akane and a horrible Arc. So even when accounting the terminal buff I think it’s really good.

Not any skill.

She can’t copy everything.

Usually, skills tied to a game stat (like Ultimate form) can’t be copied.

I did it on the different regions.

Dunno if that’s a thing you can still do.

If they’re working on something, I’m more inclined to believe its a campaign to tide us over or fill in the gap before the 2030 game.

I did this a lot in 1.1 and 1.2, I think the max times you get to see playable characters is 3 per week.

Although I’ve never encountered getting bond points from NPCs, sounds like a bug.

Such a wonderful explanation. I wish I could articulate myself the way you did. I’ve been having arguments over the ending but I just couldn’t quite put into words what made me upset about it, but you said it beautifully.
