That was needed, a lot of good Coil's even supported the idea, same reason speed E no longer has 100% armored and replaced with a damaging recast

You are able to deal what is considered by the game "chip damage" when in reality its 50 or more, given you do tech such as M2 buffering (and onboard M2 only lasts 3.5 seconds till it can be used again, making it really spammable) and both Q and M2 buffers can be panic options if you lose speed. This combined with his speed makes it really strong.
Once you "chip" them down, you have the access to do the highest burst nuke in the entire game, reaching over 120+, these are just not numbers to scoff at. A simple held E to Q already does a lot but you can go further with held E, M2 (any charge), some M1s, and Q, Q quite literally just doesnt dash you but refreshes your 25% haste that you lost from m1s with its damage added. The added part? They all have incredibly low endlag, next to absolutely none, this is what I mean by high burst nukes. You might say "oh but you just used all your abilities" I did mention ending off with Q deals with both burst dmg, a dash, and replenishes your 25% haste? You have everything to retreat and you only need to wait a pretty short time till you can go back to onboard.
You can also say "if he gets onboarded he dies" but like....you can just say that to Bio and Shuri when he gets rooted/stunned, hell even a slow can fuck them up, thats just the nature of divers and thats on you to learn how to play around them, meaning you know abilities that can fuck you up for example and play around those abilities to make sure you're not hit.
I.E. Skates use onb. Q to essentially "parry" a Hyper Q, which surprisingly mitigates you from being offboarded. Or for another example, you hear Hyper's ult, just because you're fast doesn't mean anything because his ult has an AOE the size of Sword's ult, and it WILL deboard you so avoid and go far.

You're not attacking just for damage, you're attacking for the style meter and a combo breaker, a Rocket or Katana really benefits from a Coil with an S grav tether for example for its damage amplification, or Ban with haste

Coil was always never meant to be a solo dive anyway, it only worked in opens due to its nature, focus more on his battle buddy aspect, you can dive with a diver, help tankfights, antidive, etc.

Same! I started CROB back in 2020 (around Popping Candy/Shining Glitter's update) and I loved the designs so when I saw they were upgrading their looks with Crk, it was really easy to get so hooked as with every Cookie Run fan at the time, especially with the voice cast reveals, even when people don't understand korean.
Sadly, the game's also been declining for me too, its kinda straying from its charm that got me hooked in the first placed and I sometimes forget while playing Crk that thess are even food 🥲 just a personal nitpick of mine to be honest.
I really only come back to Crk if its an update relating to TBD or Dragons, cuz lets be real I think the fanbase would kill devsis if these stories were ever messed up cuz they're incredibly popular for a reason before their appearances in Crk, like remember that one time Croi made an incredibly small appearance during Mala/Twizzly's update with only like 1 or 2 dialogue and THAT got everyone screaming
