How come there's such a large cluster from DRC and Republic of Congo? Seems unusual from typical immigration patterns (neighbouring countries and India/China etc).

I didn't realise how bad sponges could be and figured "a sponge is a sponge" but the last dirt cheap sponges i got were rubbish and started falling apart like nothing I've ever seen. Now I'm wondering how deep the rabbit hole goes and bought more expensive ones this time, yet to use them though. Usually I just use them until I decide they are too gross but these cheap ones were falling apart and not even from aggressive use.

I'm in Australia and I pay for one. Arguably don't need it, not sure which torrent sites you're having trouble with as I mostly find torrents not through the VPN. I just don't like the possibility of being monitored and VPNs aren't expensive enough for me to go without. There's other stuff that now needs a VPN but I had one before that. I just like the peace of mind of not having to worry about potential monitoring or infringement notices.

There really should be some kind of moratorium on two shows having the same name in the same format, genre and recent time frame. Every time this show comes up I think people are talking about the other Dark Matter sci-fi TV show.

For thick brush/weeds the electric ones tend to struggle. A petrol whipper snipper with a brush cutter attachment would probably be best.

Straight shaft and 4 stroke is usually recommended. I have a honda which I have had good experience with.

I'd had two Samsung phones in a row, I'd heard Xiaomi were good and was curious to see what Chinese designed phones were like so went for it.

In general it's pretty good, OS is probably a bit worse and lacking in features compared to a Samsung. Camera is probably also worse but granted it was also maybe like half the price and I didn't opt for the pro model with the better camera so that was a conscious choice.

Generally happy with the switch and feel it satiated my curiosity.

My expectation is that he would be concerned about where it could lead but utterly unable to deny the productivity benefits and utility in his personal life. Basically a junk food approach of "yeah it'll kill me but I like it anyway".

I would probably cut the pseudo-open world sections and just opt for a more linear level design. They don't really add anything and kind of drag out an already long game and stall the narrative.

When we say "sinks" is it a totally submersion and loss or did it just tilt like this and can plausibly be righted?

Possibly but there's a good chance they are still running out old product and/or haven't updated their stamps/dies yet.

I've worked as a barista in Australia and few if any people show up with a dirty reusable cup. If they do I'll either offer to chuck it in the dishwasher or wash it by hand if there's time.

Also if every cafe supposedly already has mugs for dining in then why does this bloke give a toss that its now required? Changes absolutely nothing then doesn't it? Most cafes do have mugs but there's definitely some that don't especially in cities in smaller spaces.

Aussies on fb will just fucking whinge about everything honestly. They were having a look about the government getting rid of card surcharges the other day because the costs would be passed on to us. Like yes obviously? The issue is that before it was a surprise of unknown amount at the last second if you even saw it and now it needs to be included in the listed price.

It varies massively depending on the individual wool product. I had wool jumpers/sweaters in school that I absolutely detested because of how itchy they were. I also now have merino wool socks that are softer than all my other cotton and cotton blend socks.

My understanding is that while merino isn't the warmest it is the softest and wool that you'll wear is warmer than wool you won't wear. I absolutely hated wool clothing as a kid because the itchiness was terrible. Merino wool is softer than many cotton products I own. While historically other sheep breeds would be used for wool winter clothing with the development of cotton farming and synthetics wool production has fallen off a cliff because many people also wouldn't wear wool given the choice. This has basically left just the softest wool breeds still in production. Most other wool breeds these days go into fairly low value products like carpet, housing insulation, felt that may or may not end up in clothing and stuff like that.

You can absolutely still make wool from these other sheep breeds but generally you'll find (especially when not manufacturing at mass scale) that there is a reason they have fallen out of favour.

Weird, my merino wool socks (not darn tough) are far and away the warmest and most breathable socks I've ever worn.

The difference in exposure to plastic and plastic additives like BPA and related compounds from eating and drinking out of plastic vs exposure from the water supply is orders of magnitude. Eating and drinking out of plastic is massively worse for you.

Ah what were you meant to have done? I get that the implication is she liked you but I don't see what the obvious next move was meant to be? She didn't exactly invite you to go anywhere or ask you to get in the car.

Most regional languages are old. Basque, Latin and Sanskrit also aren't on the map. Wales being it own country is not generally recognised as it has virtually no sovereignty of its own or capacity to conduct foreign affairs independently.

Regardless it's definitely a regional language and it being old doesn't make it not one. Every other country on the map has a single colour corresponding to the dominant language spoken in that entire country which even if we were to accept Wales is a sovereign independent state is still English.

Unfortunately I just don't find ferrets cute. It seems like a trivial difference but their colours/patterns and face shape just aren't as appealing.
