OP, thanks for the post. What did you end up using and is your mac older intel or newer silicon?

I have m2 and avoiding intel apps so i went with the github macUSB mentioned below. It's actually quite nice

Cause balena is intel and hasn't got with the times or something else happen? The one you linked for WinDisk looks like it only writes windows images?

This one really is nice and simple. Kind of surprised actually. Sucks how apple does security cause the app need full disk access to work but easy enough to allow image then turn off access

That’s actually a good risk mitigation strategy. What’s funny is that I do come across some sellers subdred posts adds and replies posts ect and i also even looked a couple of their dread adds just to see if anything’s changed or how consistent they are and stuff like that but I would also take it with a grain of salt because of the scammers being so densely packed but verifying the PGP and sending messages with that PGP encryption would essentially take care of most of the risk. So here I was thinking that it was bypassing the market, but it’s actually kind of the opposite. So I’m in the United States. What country are you in and what market do you typically go? Do you use different markets sometimes or is it usually the same one and one last question do you use the market wallet or do you send? I think it’s called direct send but I’m not really sure. I’ve only used the markets Wallet so far

You went from the majority of anything that’s not drugs is a scam to how hard it is to be scammed. You probably didn’t mean it that way but everyone’s got different levels of knowledge and experience and we fill in the gaps with speculation and assumptions

Yes. Those sites sound silly but they are the resource according to almost everyone from what ive noticed. The torzon site recommends sector.biz for site links and rotators, but I don’t see that mentioned much anywhere from other markets. That feels odd or at least gives me pause. I ended up on dread when I started learning, so that’s how I ended up on MarsMarket from there. It would be pretty cool to see some people’s tpr browser favorites just to see what all people are saving and what sites they use. I see dark fail mentioned as a good one and I think it’s called DNF fail or something like that. And then I see people mention private links a lot, which I’m assuming comes from the site post logon to the market.

I think I might’ve offended some people that associate DN with drugs. My experience is that drugs are ginormous giant big, but not the only thing. Obviously anything you can do on the DN, you can also do on the clarinet if you know the lingo or where to go or workarounds. Buying cigarettes on the clarinet made me lol you just have to poke around and it’s pretty interesting the stuff you can come across but like one person said or hinted about are the scams are a lot easier to fall for

Isn’t anything available on the clarinet if you know how to find it, but I’m guessing you’ve been scammed because I would never buy anything without some sort of protection and some research I would agree it’s probably a lot easier to be scammed from dw tho

There is a subreddit i think its called darknetquestions and they have a wiki and a few very helpful posts on how to say safe, and things you should NOT do, what you need to know and learn, what to stay away from and such
