Watching you, watching you
A caveman’s ghost is watching you
And he’s judging your posture too

A lot of early iMacs (~2008) used transistors as temperature probes for the SuperDrive and the HDD.

I like John. He was friendly then, and he's friendly now. But nothing fucked John but John.

Grape was the best. Chalky, delicious, addictive. You'd eat an entire bottle when given the chance.

I'm not saying I've seen a film, but I have HEARD that's the exact plot of Dolph Lundgren's Battle of the Damned (2013)

Rhythm games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Clone Hero is cool and lets you use the old instruments with USB or adapters. But the market by and large is dead.

Try the ownership transfer page with the ebay transaction details. I bought a Precision M6500 that had a BIOS password and tried it with the date, seller name, and invoice number. Took 3 days and it's been registered to me ever since.
Things may be more locked down, but I doubt it.

They wanted to execute him on PPV, then LIveLeak and the others said they would, all the big names passed. Then Trump was told he's in a wheelchair and the optics would be horrible. They scuttled the plan and are trying to save face.

Copernic Agent. Could find a file on the internet while you were away. Missing an old DLL or file shared via USENet? Copernic could find it somehow. They make a killer desktop search app now, but before OldSoftware and the other clones popped up, it was the true king.
Oh, and Norton Ghost before Symantec fucked 'em all up.

My problem with it was that it hadn't advanced from The Frighteners, which was almost 20 years older.

Acer was the official partner of Ferrari. They used to be a real beast of a manufacturer with a top tier support department.
Wish I had never sold mine.

OpenGL is the granddaddy, but it has also has two wildly different ways of working that really brings the chain back to the 90's and early 2000s, using state machines and massive inefficiencies and limiting modern techniques you can use.
A large portion of the sample code you will see is a blind mix of OpenGL 1.1, 3.3, 4.6, or some variation that uses VBOs and glBegin/glEnd loops that instantly send you into a compatibility profile and slow WAY down.
If you're going to use OpenGL, learn what Core really means and always make sure your code stays in Core, not Compatibility profiles.

I use a portable SSD as my "Whoops" drive. Sits in my desk. I also use a 14TB rust drive as a full backup, and that lives in my fireproof safe. That's all on top of a TRUENAS server as daily backup for everything.
SSD is NOT long term storage and never will be.

Straight up they were both at eachother's throats, but every market was hungry for faster and faster processors. The balancing acts they both played moving cache around and switching from sockets to slots and back again, they all had reasons. AMD Slot A was physically a Slot 1 connector wired very differently (GTL+ bus protocol while AMD used EV6), but there were justifications in taking things off the board just to keep the chip fed and powered properly.
