We weren't in the dark, you just wouldn't listen, fascist scum.

Dexedrin

Yes, you should. Accident is not so expensive also, just ask your health insurance.

Leave our country please.

The Dashboard usually is showing the numbers of the last 24 hours, so it is normal that the numbers fluctuate in either direction.

I'm basically using this blocklist: https://github.com/dmetzler1988-org/pi-hole/blob/master/blocklist.txt It is rather strong, so I have to whitelist alternative media e.g.

Looks very strange to me though. I have around 3 million on the blocklist too and the percentages blocked are always somewhere between 30 and 50% (depending on activity on the mobile and my partner's Windows crap laptop). This Pi Hole doesn't seem to work as it should in my eyes.

Thanks a lot! Might be sophisticated for me (being no geek or nerd at all) but I'll definitely look into that.

This actually made matters worse, :-) Now, even location (which of course mostly is deactivated anyway) can't be deactived for Google Play Services. And the "Findy my Phone" just vanished from the settings completely. No idea what's going on there. But nevermind.

Dexedrin

Thank you, I just did that! Can't yet tell what will happen but was high time to clear my cache anyway, :-)

Dexedrin

I could of course manually block it in the menu "Blacklists" still think this behavior kinda strange.

Dexedrin

Thank you very much for your advice. I'm actually pretty confident that I turned that off when I bought my phone. Can't find that setting right now (they always hide those things the best...) but will try that later.

As strange as it sounds, play.google.com really doesn't exist in my query log...

Dexedrin

Thank you very much for your extensive help! I'll have a look into that as soon as I get to it.

Dexedrin

Never seen something in this frequency. Even my host's Microsoft malware doesn't want to call home that often.

Dexedrin

This looks quite amazing to me actually. Have you tried to block that domain and see what happens?

Dexedrin

Thank you very much. I'm having a Nokia 6.1 but my Linux knowledge doesn't go much beyond having some Raspberry Pis. So don't spent too much time on this please but if you just have a link available, I of course would be glad to get it. Sound also like fun somehow to unlock my device, and I'm not really being overloaded with work right now, :-)

Dexedrin

After some research that even sounds like a great plan, but how the heck do I (being no nerd) manage this? Do you have some advice? Would be greatly appreciated.

Dexedrin

I've made some research and actually would really love that but am just not nerdy enough to know how. Could you give me some advice, i.e. links with advices?

Dexedrin

I of course do have a Pi Hole and a VPN (several actually). So does that save me from them bastards collecting the data? I couldn't live without being on the road and not in my Pi Hole network to be honest, :-) My Pi Hole has more than 3 million on the blocklist but I actually wouldn's have thought that "physical activity" is part of that which of course would make me cheer. play.google.com e.g. doesn't even appear in my query log.

Dexedrin

How did you fix it? I'm having a Nokia 6.1 with the latest Android version and it still remains grey and unchangeable.
