Well, I think it's one of the things that make a game unique... Though I would like to see some more realism in the game as well (like the age old example of this: http://www.quickmeme.com/img/98/98c26a6f660c8dc9ed45e79a1da5c7c89064b0d691abe53792e7a5e5f7c2033b.jpg) I kinda like how it's right now.
Plus, it takes time to see those animations again and again, and I think at one point you would just get sick and tired of that same animation over and over again...
