That’s exactly my concern too. And it’s not like the civil war where it was north vs south. This is bother vs sister. Husband vs wife. Father vs son. This divides families let alone the nation.

Edit: just remembered I should add, my grandma stopped talking to her twin sister who is radical for trump. My great aunt was going on and on about how Trump was sent by God to save our country. My grandma hung up on her after warning her several times that she didn’t want to talk politics.

I was recently told about a place about an hour from where I live (western PA) that is one of the darkest places in America (least about of light pollution). I’ve always seems shots like this but didn’t know how to do it because anytime I’ve tried to do long exposures I just got star trails. Even at 30 seconds you see them moving. I agree. Even if it was just the reflector bands or at most the emblem on the front, I wouldn’t mind it at all.

For me it’s really just about Andy when he gets back from his cruise for a few episodes. Mainly when he gets back and the episode after. Man I can’t stand him.

I am joining our local volunteer department soon. My application is in and will be approved in about a week or so. I’m very excited to be able to serve my community this way. I was a newspaper journalist for almost 3 years and covered a lot of fires. I got to know quite a few people in the department in joining and several from neighboring departments. Ive been briefed on some of the tragedies that have even been seen right in my hometown so I have a small amount of knowledge of what I’m up against. But knowing and understanding are completely different. I know I’ll see/experience things that will shake me up quite a bit but I am willing to make that sacrifice if I’m able to help others out in a way many people do not.

Thank you!! I feel like not many people understand this. First time I saw it I thought it was so ridiculous but then I started realizing the truth behind it that some people will fight - nearly to the death - just to stay ignorant to the truth. Ignorance is bliss. But it’s hard to make a difference if you’re ignorant to what you’re up against.

I know this is nowhere near some people’s record but I spent 39 days in one.

I tried Dark Sky but I just couldn’t grasp the layout. I also wish it had a dark mode...which would make sense with the app name.

Does anyone have any other suggestions of “safe” weather apps?
