I remember a while ago this guy said his job didn’t allow him to attend Sunday Mass due to scheduling and he asked for help. Some users unironically tried to persuade him into quitting his job.

That sub has always been pretty extreme and managed by hardcore Tradcaths.

Doesn’t mean we should go around starting wars and genociding other peoples, but a good chunk of the Old Testament is God using the early Israelites to inflict judgement. The Israelites at the time simply wrote it in their own narrative language, which includes exaggeration of the events that took place, aka ancient war rhetoric.

I may sound a little insane but I find it difficult to feel remorse for tribes that were actively practicing violence and committing heinous acts. Humans still have a sense of morality regardless of whether they introduced to ethics or not, so there’s very little excuse as to why they wanted to practice rape and human sacrifice.

I assume they’re saving it for the inevitable Saiyan Saga Dokkan Frontier release

Maybe not with regular books, but it’s definitely a lot more difficult with college books where the book is a requirement and they publish a new edition literally every few months

Still, it does very much tend to hold the position that it’s best for two people to be in union rather than multiple. Off the top of my head though, there’s really very little discussion both in the Old and New Testament regarding the ancient and modern practice of polygamy.

Polygamy is just simply incredibly difficult to make work if you’re trying to date other Christians to begin with. Not everything we want will always be beneficial for us.

Because they are embarrassed. Imagine vouching for a political candidate for so long only to find out he’s far from a politician of peace and you basically just told everyone to vote for a guy who’s obsessed with riches and war.

Science and religion have coexisted for a long time and have complimented each other for centuries now. The idea that science and religion are somehow incompatible is a modern concept that holds no weight.

Did you forget that science of the early world was funded and accepted by major religions? Which religions do you think archived and funded scientific and mathematical research? lol

Literally almost every single scientist in the early world was religious. You could make the argument that they had no choice but that’s not what your comment is insinuating.
