Secret ability doesn't have to be fighting related. Lacra's ability is crushing objects. It could be that frequent fighting is what "awakens" your ability, like how in a lot of fighting-based media your powers grow as you fight due to near-death experiences.

This can explain why Ambrus, despite being vrakhir for just a few years, has his own special power (scarlet shield).

It could be that dawnwalkers don't get a special cool ability. Maybe not even all vrakhiri get one. Vicho didn't seem to have one, unless you count "losing memory" as his "ability". Or maybe it develops over time, or he just lived too peaceful of an unlife for a vrakhiri.

But of course we all know, that Coen's special ability is his immaculate harido that stays intact for 30 days straight, even after hundreds of fights and hanging upside down.

I know this is a disguised attempt at a six-seven joke, but I just can't prove it.

The only reason a Mu Spore didn't TPK my party is due to one players picking Sonic damage for their energy heart eidolon. Without this one choice made some levels ago, they would've died as they couldn't out-damage the thing.

The fact that it rolled highest initiative and sucked 3/4 characters into its mouth on turn one -- didn't help the situation either.

Two characters actually died, and the third one died TWICE (was brought back by Breath of Life and suffocated to death again).
