I'm not aware of anyone who hates me, so...yeah, I'd take it.
The way this is worded, though, they could brush against you and you'd lose all your money, so it would make sense to cancel the deal as soon as you've earned enough to be set for life.

Generally, each teacher has their own classroom.
In elementary school, you have one primary teacher whose classroom you stay in most of the day, and then you go to other rooms for gym, music, art, foreign language. In high school, you're on the move all day.
This is because at the elementary level you and your classmates generally take all the same classes together. Once you get to the high school level, your schedule is much more individualized. My senior year of high school, for example, I was in college-level English and calculus, photography, creative writing, psychology...there likely wasn't another student in my school taking the exact same classes.
DocLego
Nah. I only see open captioned movies and there are only so many of those available, especially during convenient hours.

Half a million dollars after taxes? Five or six years of that and I can retire.
DocLego
Yes, of course. Think about how much it would cost to have someone watch the baby for you to be able to work, if your wife wasn't around.
DocLego
Of course they would. We knew Trump was a sex offender the first time he ran for office. They don't care.

I paid $103 for my copy, and it's totally worth it. I remember it was actually going for $300-$400 in 2010 and I was quite tempted to sell mine and then buy the reprint..

This is why covers and blurbs are important. You want to both attract the right readers, and turn off the wrong ones, so you get the people who actually want to read the kind of stuff you're writing.
DocLego
Nah.
We put dishes in the washer instead of the sink, then turn it on at nice. In the morning I put them away. Less effort AND I don't have to either dry them or leave them sitting out on the counter.
Plus, it's WAY easier for stuff like baby bottles.
DocLego
No, I just say I don’t want to use my card. I don’t lie to my kids.
DocLego
Yeah, no.
My last house had one bathroom. For me, my wife, our son, our foster daughter, our previous foster daughter when she was visiting…it was a PITA.
Now we have a 3/2.5 and it’s so much better. But I’d love to add a half bath to the basement as well.
DocLego
I literally don’t carry cash, which can be helpful in these situations.
DocLego
Absolutely.
Remember: in 2022, nobody thought there was any chance Lauren Boebert would lose. She was a MAGA republican in an R+7 district and the race didn't get any national attention (thus, the democrat has almost no funding). She won by only 546 votes, with a 50.1% vote share.
You never know what's going to happen.

If there's a way to set it once rather than individually for every game, I haven't seen it. If you know where it's hiding, please enlighten me.
I do have it set on all the games I play frequently.
DocLego
It's really individual preference. We only played Lockdown a few times and always play Retaliation lately, but I've heard some people say Lockdown is their favorite.
I should note that we only play full co-op.
DocLego
Hmm, I've never counted. Actually had to pull up a list of state capitals to check. Looks like I've stayed in 11 state capitals (and five country capitals).

2021 I think was the first model year for the ID4. I know it had a lot of software issues. We've had a 2023 and a 2024 and loved them both, but I probably wouldn't buy earlier than 2023.
DocLego
Cabin in the Woods.

Getting rid of the EC would have absolutely no impact on gerrymandering. But yeah, it sucks that right now your vote for president only matters if you live in one of a handful of states.
DocLego
Everybody knows what's wrong with the Buzz: it costs too much and doesn't go far enough.
If it was $20k cheaper and had another hundred miles of range we'd probably have one by now.
DocLego
Of course your vote matters.
If it didn't, republicans wouldn't try so hard to keep you from voting.
DocLego
I can't speak to most people, but I'll decline a game if the other person has a bad reputation. I don't want to play against someone who's going to take forever or abandon the game.
DocLego
Because it's easier to read.

I remember one of my teachers in high school telling us that if he'd starting putting money into his 401k when it first became available, he'd be retired.
I made the mistake of waiting to really get started on investing until I after I finished college. I figured I'd be making a lot more then, and I was right. But since I got a PhD, I was also 30...
We actually had a cheap 3d printer years ago that was a PITA to use, so we never did much with it. Then this year my wife wanted to get back into it. I found out that modern printers are easy to use and I could use one to print organizers for my board games. So I got a P1S (and then a H2C).
