Based on the profile pic and marks, totally reasonable. Gimurin is pretty comfy and getting invested in a game is hard if you don't have time.

It's just the bingo. They made the bingo to get members to stream and advertise the game more. It's not that interesting of a game to watch outside of special events like the tournaments unless the streamer is playing minigames with chat, because the rhythm game needs too much focus so they can't read chat and not all of the members enjoy the minigames.

My best strategy has been finding something to distract my brain function without being too attentive. Smiling is my #1 successful tactic. Forcing the muscles around the mouth to hold a small "smile" takes just enough brain power to keep my thoughts from wandering, but requires no focus so I can unconciously let it go when falling asleep.

It felt like the player characters just didn't really go together that well compared to the first 2 campaigns and often it felt like the characters got "stuck" and debated things among themselves for way too long when Matt frequently gave them tough choices. Vague spoilers up to episode ~40: Several players (especially Liam, Laura, Travis) were trying to do something fresh with their characters but weren't able to play into their usual strengths that made the first 2 campaigns great. Bells Hells were thrown into the main plot a bit too early for it to be charming, too. Suddenly the world is in peril and its saviors are a bunch of level 5 silly gooses in way over their heads who all happened to be the "chosen one" in one way or another.

The character relationships kinda felt flat to me too. The Imogen/Laudna dynamic got melodramatic really often and took up a lot of time. The most compelling dynamic was Ashton and FCG but it felt like Sam resisted character development for FCG harder than a harem protagonist resists a girls obvious advances. There were still plenty of cool moments and arcs but the charm wasn't there.

The majority of people who play DnD are familiar with Critical Role, though it's not as hyped as it was in 2020-2022 when Campaign 2 was at its peak and each livestream had 50,000+ viewers in addition to vod and podcast listeners later... before Campaign 3 went poorly. During Campaign 3 they lost a majority of their viewership but its reputation is coming back now that Campaign 4 is good.

Yeah when I wake up 10-30 minutes early I think "Shit, I just lost X minutes of actually restful sleep." I still go back to sleep because its better than nothing though.

If you're worried avout stealing the show or making other players feel overshadowed, then you can either assign your stats in a silly way or give your character a fun flaw or ask the DM. I've played in rolled groups for years and seen a lot of ways to deal with it.

One player in a past game put their 18 on a fighter into charisma and had a lot of fun with it.

Another decided that their godroll stats character was non materialistic and always gave all gold and treasure to others in the party.

Another was in debt to some scary people

Sometimes the DM just happens to put a cool item in the loot that is perfect for a character that rolled bad stats.

And while some things are meant to stay… Some are only meant to carry you so far. And whatever comes, if it’s something we could do… then it’s something you could do.

My school put in a new rule this year that teachers can't do video brain breaks anymore and replaced them with a list of 30 second to 3 minute activities that kids can play with each other.

It's a great idea but very hard for the teachers because some of these kids have awful social skills and just hate everyone they interact with for daring to not be subservient to them like an iPad would, and teachers were using those videos to get the next lesson or activity ready so a lot of them still do the videos most of the time.

If you want the team to move forward, be the rear guard. Ping forward for them to take the front and push and if they don't listen, say in chat that you have the rear guard so we can move faster.

Now you can move forward while keeping stuff from attacking from behind. It's a hard but important job.

The cultural origin of our representative government and one whose strengths and downfall the American Founding Fathers were well versed in, U.S. government's architecture largely follows a Greek revival style which for some people is close enough, Christianity (though that's not exactly ancient Rome)... oh and Fascism.

Best to get 4 members to 80 first, then spend resources getting various event mems up as their events happen. Rotate 1 event character through your team per event so you don't have to reset a whole bunch of boards every time. Later on if you care you can get a 5th permanent member for non-events and ranking or even start rotating more event characters in but that's a lot of work.

I used to do Free mode all the time and didn't really see people leave more than usual when there was a C or even D+ rank in the game with us. Usually if people left it was because they realized they had no stamina left or didn't want to play that particular song.

DoctuhD

It depends on the team. Those nodes reduce your skills cooldowns which can make them overlap and be redundant more often. You can always try it and see if it makes the team score go up or down, or plug your team into a tool like Holodori.best. I tend to just skip them by default for temporary event characters.
