That's the point, spend it on random shit. That random shit is what drives the economy. So Dave down the road spending the £100 on going to the pub is helping that pub and Sarah spending it on Christmas toys for the kids is also helping the toy shop. So it's going to drive extra GDP
Dodomando
It's actually a £2.6b boost to the economy as the £100 saving from energy will go to businesses etc as people spend more for Christmas
Dodomando
And destroy the careers of some of the academy players who get thrown into a high level football match they are not ready for which will ruin their mentality
Dodomando
They said that about Amorim

The BBC's legal department will be experts in UK law, not US law so it makes sense
Dodomando
Don't forget that the Sports Director didn't want Amorim because he played with a back 5 and it wouldn't suit our team
Dodomando
Reading this there seems to be a chance he stays wth
Dodomando
It's always the day after, apart from lvg

You can make more profit on 100 than 10,000 if the profit margins are very low
Dodomando
It's not about how many you sell but how much profit you make
Dodomando
Most UK private schools now have schools in Thailand and China so it is nothing new
Dodomando
They are trying to throw as much shit at the wall as possible and see what sticks
Dodomando
I doubt it's because "it's not good enough" JLR build great platforms for doing offroading but that comes at additional cost and weight, which is likely why the Freelander won't be built on it. Also if they are making it in China on the same production line as current vehicles it doesn't make sense to bring in a whole new architecture into that production line

The bank's cost reductions are focused on its UK retail bank, but some back office functions for the UK are done in India, where a significant proportion of the job cuts are expected to fall.
They are desperate if they are cutting jobs from the the low cost areas

From the article
The bank's cost reductions are focused on its UK retail bank, but some back office functions for the UK are done in India, where a significant proportion of the job cuts are expected to fall
So a lot of the jobs are going from India not the UK

It looks like the players are just very unfit as well, like they haven't ran at all during preseason
Dodomando
Well we have Southgate's right hand man as assistant coach
Dodomando
My guess a significant portion are fake job adverts designed to farm personal data

They got rid of catering for support staff so they can spend more on the 1st team and you think they will give money to fans?
Dodomando
They already have voice chat for desert storm
Dodomando
There's also the fact that most new car purchases these days are on PCP so it is the dealership who is trying to get the best resale value as they will be reselling it later on
Dodomando
3 things, car companies build a stock of cars they sell to dealerships so people can just drive off without waiting, company cars who want neutral colours, and people want a car that doesn't depreciate as much. If I bought a pink car the pool of people to buy would be much smaller
Dodomando
It won't knock anything off the bill thanks to the ofgem energy price cap which is in place until the end of the year
Dodomando
I'd much rather listen to an opinionated Darren Fletcher over monotonous Sam Matterface
Well it's £2.6bn increase to the GDP which isn't that big but it may drive some businesses to hire more seasonal staff, who then pay tax. Also the government will recoup 20% of the £100 in VAT receipts
