first off, weakest melee suit currently and RLY doesnt serve much purpose. but they have a 7.6k damage down slam that bypasses parry shields AND with the 4 lives he can just KHS if he rly wanted to just do more down slams for EN. his shield will soak up your charged shots and rail cannons actually knock u out of 3. u aint gonna do "meaningful" damage to this guy to make him back off

DESPITE... LITERALLY GIVING U THE MIDDLE FINGER AT EVERY ANGLE, this is the "only" suit you actually get a window to hit the cunt. hurri's weakest defence is blast, flashbangs disable all your gadgets including 3, spin ripping into ur HP and the 3 just flat out stopping "all" your damage. stosp ur primary, funnel lasers AND 3. thx season. the ONLY reason tho why this is hurri's best match up you HAVE to stall out the 3. the longer that stays up, the bigger window you have to actually hurt welkin, and it WILL make him back off eventually

your worst match up as hurri. all he has to do... is 2 down slams into lance... and 1 down slam and ur lights out. that's... it. and he will ALWAYS stay above you because of 3 EN packs. like i'm doing a panther challenge of "not being able to use 2 or 3". tested in masters, started officially in GM and currently gen 3. i can STILL keep above hurri. not as ezily but can still stay above him. if i'm not using his 2 to stay above him consistantly... i shouldnt have to explain the addition of EN packs to show how bad this match-up is

2nd worst... but it's a close 1st. staggers on his ranged slashes and his grapple "lower's the parry shield". if that wasnt bad enough, his palm strike isnt even parryable?? WHO TF DESIGNED THIS?!?!? even if by some miracle you get a parry, you have to invest 4/6 spam shots to "just remove fluid armour +30%hp". spam shots only rly hurt when they're low af and ur telling me all that investment needed just to do meaningful parry damage??

solo q for 95% of games. they have "mostly" been streamed live on my twitch (shameless plug ik but it's where the proof is). when i hit GM, i did some games off stream solo q only so whether u wanna believe that or not is completely up to you. my final few games in general (say about... 10 give or take) was with a stack of 2 ppl (myself included) only cos "hey, u know how to play welkin and not like an idiot. i like you. can i squad with you". i was like fiiiiiiiiine so full disclaimer there.

and for that second paragraph, 100% agree can confirm i've had that experience as well. wasnt a skill diff it was a comp diff or ppl just getting too happy with a "double kill" from the announcer. i just call those games elo tax man. i wont say that "You are also not playing OBJ", but there are times where even me as a welkin doesnt have to play on the sit itself to cap the point. i've had several instances where i've leeroy jenkins enough or pushed enemies so far back, that's also space for my team to use and cap the key.
