So many landlords will issue an invoice to their tenants as they leave with bullshit charges because they know so many people will prefer to pay the fee than to create conflict.
My last landlord tried to take my entire security deposit because the toilet wax seal had been leaking while I lived there and had rotted out the subfloor.
I called the landlord and said there was no way for me to know it was leaking, how would I be responsible for repair and they immediately backed off. They did, however, keep the $75 "cleaning fee" that I didn't dispute hard enough.
A cleaning fee they charged me because I didn't clean the TOP of the kitchen CABINETS before I left.

Considering the center-left in the US would mostly be considered to be fairly well on the right in most other countries, there are not nearly as many radical leftists as you think in the US.
Granted, the perception of left vs right is quite subjective, so you may think otherwise.
Dorkamundo
Not really, but some "Centrists" would be really mad to find out they're actually far right.
Dorkamundo
Look, nobody's ever said that Jones and Mason are a bad RB duo.
That's not why we're looking for JT, we're looking for JT because this team will need a running game it can lean on and our current stable of backs is unlikely to remain healthy for the season.
Personally, I'd rather have Saquon. If the Eagles are selling, he'd be cheaper both in trade compensation AND cap hit.

Dude believes CTE is made up, and thinks that asthma is nothing more than weakness.
"Bright" my ass.

I think that both the Lions game and the Bills game are going to result in Kyler being far more successful due to their defenses and it's going to give us somewhat of a false sense of hope that Kyler is turning the corner.
Then he'll struggle in a hard-fought game in GB that everyone will dismiss due to the weather and the divisional aspect.
Then we'll roll into Mexico City and Kyler will get exposed.

"Just grab them by the Jonathan Taylor. When you're a KAM, they let you do it."
FFS man, you recognize that the Colts have to agree to the trade first, right? That we can't force them to make the trade?
Dorkamundo
In most cases no... But Kirk's familiarity with the system does make it more likely he'd hit the ground running and our defense could carry us while he gets up to speed.
Not advocating for it, just saying that this is one of the few situations where it might actually work.

Switching QB's mid-season via trade is not something I'd normally advocate, and I'm not actually advocating for it here.
But if ANY team could switch QB's mid-season like this and actually succeed going forward, it would be this one.
Even starting Wentz could give us a little more juice on offense.
Ooof... Maybe. Kyler is still getting up to speed here. We know Wentz's ceiling, we haven't reached Kylers.

This is like seeing a guy survive a car accident and someone saying "That's a great advertisement for the car" and you responding with "It's not the car, it was the airbags".
Dorkamundo
While I don't find you conventionally attractive, I do find you oddly sexy.
That was supposed to be a compliment, came out wrong.

Do you HONESTLY believe that she was able to get elected to congress and be given access to classified information without the US government doing its due diligence on this before she even took office?
Do you have ANY idea the level of scrutiny they place on a person, their relationships and their family before they give out this kind of access?

We were a missed chip shot from beating the Seahawks in the playoffs in 2015
Yes, which if we made that kick it's a playoff win which is something, is it not?
in 2016 our OC got canned mid season and tanked us
Nope. Norv resigned, and he resigned because Pat Shurmur was tasked with getting Sam Bradford up to speed after we lost Teddy to a preseason knee dislocation due to him working with Bradford in the past. Might I remind you that Teddy was almost the perfect QB for a Mike Zimmer team and his injury dramatically changed the trajectory of this team.
The season started off well, as you might remember the 5-0 start, but went downhill due to injuries and a tough schedule, not Turner leaving.
we had a miracle run with a backup in 2017
Something Zimmer did.
and in 2019 we sent the Saints packing in their house
Another thing Zimmer did.
Offensive play calling was Zimmers biggest downfall.
No, it was the owners forcing a QB he didn't want on the team onto the roster and Spielman failing to draft any talent after 2015. If we hadn't forced Cousins on him, or had even had a MODICUM of success at drafting defense over those drafts, the team might have been able to keep playing well.
People seem to think the Vikings were bad well before the 2020 season, but that was the season our bad drafts caught up with us and our lack of cap space prevented us from fielding a functional team.
I will agree that offensive consistency was a problem due to the semi-revolving door of OC's, but it was not the biggest downfall. Zimmer also could have handled those final years better, his anger got the best of him, but the shit was already hitting the fan before that point.

The Colts ain't likely to be going for QB in 2027, so a 2028 pick might be more valuable to them.
Dorkamundo
Doubt it. Would be harder for them to hide the money than it would be for someone with more means to do so.
Dorkamundo
I didn't mean it that way, I meant he literally already was a HC and it did not go well at all.
Dorkamundo
It's certainly a thought creeping into the back of my mind. I had expected some quicker improvement on the offense with him under center than we've had.
However, we do need to recognize that we've been more conservative on offense than we traditionally are. I trust Kyler to throw a great ball to JJ when he's double-covered, but we just don't seem to be trying it all that often.
Dorkamundo
They could trade him in the offseason as well and probably get the same return unless he just tanks the rest of the season.
Dorkamundo
Oh, you mean for their concessions?
Dorkamundo
That's kinda what I'm hoping.
Dorkamundo
Dude went from Stephen to Daniel to Alec.
