Wait, do I know you from somewhere? Are you my girlfriends dentist?

PSA - Don't bother doing this, it doesn't work.
A) Fords sometimes have a valve in the fuel filler neck that doesn't open without a metal neck to complete the circuit. We're ran into probably trying to refuel a ford with a jerry can B) Sugar doesn't dissolve in gasoline, so it all sits relatively harmlessly on the bottom of the tank. Worst case scenario is it clogs your fuel filter. Maybe messes with the fuel pump.
ChrisFix had a video where he flipped a car that had sugar in the gas tank. If that happens to you, still get it repaired, but it's not the nail in the coffin that it's thought to be. You'll just need to clean out your gas tank, fuel lines, and probably replace the fuel filter, but your engine will be fine.

I'm not familiar with frogs as much, but I'm pretty sure frogs breathe through their skin, and it needs to be moist for that to function correctly. If this is related to him drying out, it might be worth keeping him spayed down until you can get a more concrete answer. Good luck!

Hell yeah

Probably obese, but I've never really seen a full grown Pacman frog that doesn't look a bit like that. They aren't renown for their mobility, they kind of just wait for things to walk into their mouths. Hopefully he's just tucked in nice and cozy

When a tortoise hatches, they have an amniotic sac that slowly absorbs into their plastron. Until it finishes, the plastron has a bit of give to it under pressure. If the sides of his shell are flexing, it might be related to the plastron not being solid yet, but I'm not certain. The sides flexing seems weird, but I never tried squeezing mine when he was a hatchling.

Technically, I think tortoises are turtles, but turtles are not tortoises. Square and rectangle type relationship. That being said, I call him Mr. Turtelingus

Yikes, that sounds stressful! It really depends on the tortoise's species, and their individual habits. Some grazing species of tortoises like sulcata and leopard tortoises *can* go a couple miles in a day, but that doesn't mean that they will. Some tortoises also like to burrow... I have a leopard tortoise who will walk around, nibble on some food, and hide for 8 hours, and repeat. He escaped one day, went to the end of my neighbors yard, and just chilled there until we found him. There's no way to know what your tortoise did, but checking in bushes/vegetation, or under debris would be the best place to start. If you have access to trail cams, those *might* help depending on the size. If there is civilization nearby, posters or community Facebook posts could help. Good luck!

Are there sulcatas in Arizona? That's probably not great...

This is the Subframe/Engine Cradle, right? It's weird that this seems to be the only part that's actually rusty. It's theoretically possible to replace it, I'm not familiar with a highlander enough to know how invasive that is. I had a subframe replaced on my Impala years ago after I ran over a mailbox. Wasn't too bad. Depending on the condition of the rest of the car, it could be worth it.

this is how the west falls...

I mean, it's pretty bad. The rear portion of his shell looks collapsed, which usually indicates progressed metabolic bone disease, which is bad. As far as the pyramiding itself, there isn't really anything you can do other than correct the husbandry, and correct growth moving forward. I'm not seeing it mentioned elsewhere, but it looks like this is a Sulcata. You can do some research to see what care he needs, probably Calcium and Vitamin D supplements to start. If you're keeping him in the back yard, Sulcatas also like to dig/burrow, so be prepared for that. It is what it is, but it's good that you're going to give him a better home! Best of luck!

I saw the same post (though not sure from the same guy), and I'm pretty sure it's parody. The account was tagged as a Digital Creator with the bio "The HOA Guy"

Interesting. Probably worth a try in the meantime, since I now have two weak ones (and one destroyed one that I tried to disassemble... The Saab Original brand ones don't come apart like the SEM ones do). Thanks for the tip!

To be fair, Amazon delivery is outsourced to tons of independently owned 3rd party companies. I knew a guy who worked at one, and it sounded a lot like an MLM scheme. He drove a truck for so many years, and then he could apply for a license to open his own Amazon delivery company, and hire his own drivers, etc. Most of those companies have no "legal" connection to Amazon/Bezos, so this likely didn't affect them at all. Still good to collect the fees though.

A warranty, you say? That could be a good option. Do you, or anyone else have experience with their warranty process?

I first learned about the BT Charger from this post, and immediately ordered one.

Interesting. I looked into getting an aftermarket radio for my 9-5, and Crutchfield has a bunch of write ups for specific cars. They recommended against installing an aftermarket radio in the 9-5 because chimes and warnings are routed through the radio. I'd bet it's the same thing you ran into. Good to know it's workable!

It depends what you're looking for in the car. If you are a Saab enthusiast, then it will be a good car. They can be fun to drive, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to get acquainted with it's intricacies. If you are looking for a trusty A to B car, there are probably better options in that price range. My two big issues with Saabs in 2026 are that a) parts are getting harder to find, and b) people who know how to work on Saabs are getting harder to find too (at least here in the states).
I daily drive an OG 9-5, and have for 8 years now, and plan to continue until I can't anymore. Currently, I'm trying to track down a Direct Ignition Cassette (DIC), but they stopped making those a while ago. Unfortunately, non-OEM ones just don't work right, or last as long as the factory ones do. I bought one last week, and it was a dud. The search continues...
As far as technicians go, Saab used the Tech2 diagnostic device, which is no longer used. Because of that, most mechanics don't have the intended diagnostic data, and therefore refuse to work on them (at least here in the US). This lead me to learn how to fix it myself. I love the car, and I enjoy the process of learning and developing the skills, but know that a Saab might involve doing a lot of the work yourself. Additionally, it makes it more likely that Saabs on the market haven't been maintained properly, which may cause problems.
If I were to get a new daily driver today, I probably wouldn't get another Saab, but I'd very much like to keep mine as a weekend car.
Hopefully that helps, best of luck to you!

If you have a code scanner that might do it, otherwise disconnecting the battery for a minute or so might clear the stored data.

Could be a tensioner pulley too. If it is something on the accessory belt, in addition to the stethoscope method, you can also use a temperature gun to see if one of the pulleys is abnormally hotter than the rest. If so, that one probably isn't spinning freely, and it building up heat. Good luck!

I don't have kids yet, but I'd imagine it's just a matter of different responsibilities. As parents, you are responsible for making sure your kids turn out okay in addition to loving them, as to where grandparents don't have to worry about how they turn out. When they were raising you, they had to discipline you (likely in the way their parents disciplined them), but they can just love your grandkids.
