It really should be.. but the reality is that surfaces aren't always prepped perfectly and the silicone just adds a layer of CYA.
We started siliconing our tub overflows because the surfaces have been left with so much fiberglass over spray or just not smooth enough.

In my area we have concrete recycling

Sekonk is my preferred Torque wrench for plumbing.
Don't get the big socket wrench style.. that is way too difficult to use in plumbing. Thats more for automotive work.

A lot of people frown upon using silicone on the Flange and tub surface. Underneath on the gasket its not and issue. Just a light smear of silicone to make full contact. Don't get it in the threads.
Dug_n_the_Dogs
yeah, thats not a thing.

you should be concerned with the pex b connection to the tub. It will cause backpressure that sends water out of your tub spout and your shower head at the same time.

As a professional I recommend name brand over cheap in places where water and leaks are ever an issue.. and bidet seats are that.
We recommend Toto Washlets due to their reputation for not only quality but a brand that will take care of their customers when repairs are needed.

We watched a guy on a motorcyclist get Waved thru traffic on 99 only to hit a car in the far right turn lane flying by stopped traffic at 40. I recall seeing the driver of the truck next to us waving at someone so we stopped in case someone were dumb enough to take the bait.. they did and paid a price.

I'm seeing it at 6500... but yeah, I have a nice Toto S550e at home.
We do have a Neorest in one of our office bathrooms.. but its so customers can see it installed and take it for a spin if they want.

Yeah, first time I did it was for shade on the dry side. But another time I still had one in my pack and got hit by a deluge and that cemented it for me. The two things I dislike is having to hold it cuz thats a hand that could be holding a beer.. and packing them..

I found an awesome "drywall tool cleaning brush" at home depot that has a long handle and stiff bristles. Can step on the handle and work your other foot over the bristles to clean the soles, and the long handle makes it easy to swipe off the sides of my boots.

I never even considered that!
I just purchased my first umbrella while I was in Georgia a couple weeks ago and my only day to explore was in the aftermath of a hurricane and it was Dumping. I had brought my rain jacket, but didn't have room for rain pants and really hadn't expected to need them. Only brought one pair of shoes too.. so kinda wanted to stay dry before getting on a 5hr flight home. All my other umbrellas have been ground scores.

I had an early gps that had roads on mt st helens that had been wiped off the earth in 1980! Somehow made it onto a digital map 25yrs later.

Rain gear.. rain jacket, rain pants, gaiters. Under that quick dry pants / wool base layer shirt. Often separate sleeves either think evaporative, or wool for warmth.
And unpopular opinion that I've started utilizing after using in eastern washington hiking.. an umbrella.

The inset remote is pretty cool!

It looks like the Toto Neorest AS (MS8551CUMFG#01)

Install a new frost free about 4 - 6" lower than where it is now.

Its not really a dead leg because it has the ability to be flushed out. But in the sense that water isn't circulating there, yes. If you placed that branches shut off close to the branch tee, it would reduce its potential volume of uncirculated water.

Theme parks are generally private property and pretty much zero chance of getting permission to place a cache on property even in a non admission area.
Dug_n_the_Dogs
I have both and use the official app for my dog / sock puppet account.. but since I started with C:Geo in '10 that is what I gravitate towards.
Dug_n_the_Dogs
Argh.. too bad. You used to be able to log finds on your own caches back in the day. I adopted a cache published in 2002 and the original owner would log finds every time they went back to perform maintenance.

Or if your trad is already published.. archive it and publish a new Letterbox Hybrid since this is a pretty major overhaul.

I can hear their toilet chewing from here.
Dug_n_the_Dogs
They may as well mentioned their toilet is Moist.

Yeah. I've used all manner of them over the decades.
