I got a BS in Engineering Geology; liked it but was more suited for the engineering. I went back and got BS & MS in Civil (Water Resource).

I liked the geology a lot but found more jobs and opportunities with civil. I actually found less opportunities when geology and civil was on my resume vs just civil. Almost too much of a niche or they feared they would have to pay more.

This was just my experience and there is much more to the story than just this.

LSD is probably a better choice.
