Not to side with adobe. But they are far from the only one doing this. Basically Adobe offers two prices a monthly rate, and an annual rate.
The annual rate is cheaper, and they allow you to pay it as a per month bill to spread it throughout the year. But if you sign up for the annual plan on a monthly payment schedule, there is an early cancellation fee for stopping early.

As a sub, if you are the lone CM, I will fill out a scope sheet. If it’s an open bid with a dozen GCs I am not filling out different pre-bid scopes for each GC. They can call/email and ask specifics and I will answer. But I’m giving the same proposal to everyone.

I run my own tests for handwriting analysis. Luna 6 has been by far the worst I’ve tested. I didn’t even pass at all it was unusable, worse even than DeepSeek v4 Vision. 5.6 Luna is good, ultimately Gemini Flash Lite, is the best for the cost for my purposes.

Not around here. Assuming your mortgage includes escrow, it will go up very year due to valuation changes, and insurance increases.

Andrew La Grone is part of the group pushing this <source>, and wherever he is, know it is being funded by Pete Ricketts.
Pete gave Andrew a spot in the state legislature which he promptly lost to Jen Day in a fairly conservative district.

Regular cameras can often pick up some of the infrared spectrum. It wouldn’t be visible to your eyes. But you can try it with an old fashioned tv remote and a camera.

It pretty much was because the reservation and surrounding areas were dry. There would cross the border to Nebraska to stock up. But it was a really depressing situation you’d see people passed out in the streets. The gas stations lost their liquor licenses a number of years back, and there has been some progress to promote tourism and the arts in the area, but it’s still one of the poorest areas in the country.

I think it also requires purified water. Tap water has irregularities in it that will prevent the water from superheating.

I think they way they did it was one of the worst ways. If they wanted to increase turnover and revenue, just increase the seat donation to a higher amount.
The blind auction, where if you lose the auction you still pay the donation is inherently unfair.

The second part of that clause is the important part. They are held harmless ... only for issues connected to: (i) you breach the Host Recommendation Directory Terms (ii) your interaction with anyone causing the issue (ie. you verbally told them that you would refund) or (iii) A breach of laws, regulations, or rights.
I don't think any of those apply in this case.

FWIW, he is on the sex-offender registry for 15 years.

It’s never been financially worth it. For basketball it has always been cheaper to buy individual tickets on the secondary market for all of the games. This year lower bowl tickets are about $50ea + donation. Only a few games cost that on the secondary market.
Dysalot
Yes, that is correct. There are people that are donating money that will not get refunded if they don't get seats.
Dysalot
I don't think it's really the same thing.
Season tickets have always been available to those willing to pay. Until probably this year, they weren't selling out.
They don't have grandfathered donations. If your seat requires a donation, you pay the same donation as the new ticket holder next to you.
Dysalot
I mean raise ticket prices (which they did 20%), raise required seat donations, but don't kick everyone out of their seats.
Dysalot
They increased the ticket prices 20% this year already, and if they wanted to increase the donation amount some, I would be okay with that too.

I am not a big fan of this, as a long time season ticket holder. I pay the required donation for the tickets, plus more for parking access. I've sat through so many terrible-to-middling seasons of Danny Nee, Barry Collier, Doc Sadler, Tim Miles, and now Fred Hoiberg.
Because the seating process strongly favors current year giving over lifetime giving, I am not likely to be able to maintain lower bowl seats. I'm not rich, but I've always loved Husker basketball and splurged for lower bowl seats when the arena was built.
This feels like a money grab to capitalize on one year of success, and a middle finger to the supporters who have been with the team so many years. I'm not in a financial position to donate an extra $1,000-$5,000 every "2-5 years" just to maintain the opportunity to pay and donate for my current seats.

I feel like you could put something at the back to have it sit at the correct depth.

I wouldn't set your hopes too high. I think Topaz's gigapixel often makes things look too synthetic, but maybe for art that will work better. Lightroom has Super Resolution and a lot more control for color/saturation/lighting.
If you end up going with Lightroom, and you only intend to keep it for a month, make sure you purchase the correct one. There is a 12-month plan that charges you monthly (this has the cheapest monthly rate), but you are locked into paying for a full year, or a penalty for canceling early, or some hoops to jump through to get out.
There is also a month-to-month plan that is more costly but you can cancel it after a month. Many people get confused on the two and choose the cheapest option, not realizing that they are committing to a full year of monthly payments.

Interesting. I have this guys card and was considering using him. Do you have any more details.

This post feels so “Nebraska” in the most stereotypical way possible.
Yes any speed advantage you have coming out of the corner maintains advantage down the straight. In underpowered karts it's all about minimizing speed loss in the corners, because it takes so long to accelerate back up to speed after you lose it.
