A few things would help: change out the knobs. Those are some 90’s ass knobs, brass pull handles instead.
Change out the sink for brass as well.
Change out the sink to a black finish
If you have this on an outward facing wall, I think removing the cabinet above the sink and getting a window would really help brighten the place and make the sink not feel like it’s smooshed under cabinets
I really like this wood tone but the tone is a mismatch with the wood flooring. Personal that flooring would be what I change before the cabinets. Hardwood is awful in a kitchen anyway. Change it out for a large format tile. Something in light grey. You could even do short term sticky tiles with a protective underlayment to test if you like it before you go through the full Reno.
Changing a few of the doors to frosted glass would also help break up the sameness of the wood. Probably the ones above the fridge/stove.

We used to have a welder that had dwarfism. This man was the highest paying welder/assembler because he could fit into spots no one else could.
I’ve done sink work and being small is only going to be an asset for plumbing. Work out and make sure to stretch to stay healthy and handle the physical labor and you’ll be golden.
I work in welding and would say the Midwest is a good place to avoid the sexism, the south is a lot worse. Learn some quick witty retorts about small dicks. That will shut down and give you respect for the few little boys who will quip about being a women.

Besides the snobbishness, there is a very real problem with cruise ships on the exploitation of the countries it visits.
They are incredibly exploitative of both on board crew and economically hurt the ports they stay in.
More and more of the cruises own their own islands or own the surrounding activities and restrants so that all the money you spend “experiencing the island” stays right in the pockets of the corporation and not the local people. They get slave wages working for the ships and no ability to build into wealth through ownership. Not all are as bad as others but in general they are colonialism and hyper capitalism wrapped up for folks who are more focused on their pleasure then stewardship of the world.

I’m going to use almond milk as the comparison.
Cow vs almond milk
8g protein vs 1g
Fat is controllable for your uses, go high for some products, low in others
potassium, vitamin B12, and calcium is very naturally high in milk while almond milk need to be enriched to have the same content.
Same with natural sugars vs added sugar. You need to get unsweetened to avoid the 15 g of sugar they add.
Almonds in particular are terrible water users, even compared to the water required for cows to eat.
Nothing of this is make or break for one over the other. Overall the protein is the most practical downside for alt milks but you can make up this in other dietary ways. Soy milk is the best option for sure as it has close to the protein, though their are hormonal concerns.
EdgyAnimeReference
Literally all you have to do is 2% or lower and that problem goes away. Milk is high in protein that people do not get enough of and nutrient dense.
I would be flabbergasted if milk was the problem for obesity over burgers and fries.

It’s ironic that if you got out of the dating scene early, you have less experience in how absolutely shitty the choices are that make this solution not very appealing or reasonable.
Picking the right partner is 1000% the most important thing women and men will make for their finances but the statistics show that on average people are taking a 50/50 shot on marriage. Even a relatively amicable divorce really screws up finances from selling the house and then splitting into two households.
You win that 50% gamble and you’re in your shoes with a positive outcome. The other half loses financially. Overall 50/50 odds is really not great and comes down to if your good at picking the right person. Which comes down to a bit of luck frankly. I think people overestimate their ability to tell a good from a bad partner in early dating, let alone all the things that can go wrong like disability or death . This is especially worsened if you’re a young person without a lot of experience in what you want.
Plus as a women the deal is not nearly as good. Having kids means financial loss through career growth and being forever tied to your husband through custody. Add in that home labor is still not equally split and the general man-children that is the dating pool , and this becomes much less of a viable plan.
Your not wrong though that partnering does help financially, which is why we’re seeing a rise in older ladies owning houses together after the divorce.

Okay first I would take stock of how you felt going into the relationship vs now. Were you always unattracted to the new guy? Were you suffering from severe depression throughout that time dating or is it a worsened issue?
It might not apply at all for you, but I have one friend who suffers from regular depression but had a really bad 6 months. During that time she declared herself to be asexual and was certain her disinterest in anyone was just the way she was. By mid year, she’s changed her meds and turns out oh it is just severe depression that makes it hard to feel anything for anyone at all. Same thing with another friend that was convinced she needed to divorce and then flipped once she handled her depression.
Try to articulate WHY your not attracted to him. Physical? Do you miss the adrenaline of the abusive relationship? Ie are you bored? Is their specific icks? Is it something to be worked on or something unchangable?
If you can get past that part, the other things are conversations you need to have. You need to discuss what you want to do about living somewhere. You don’t know his level of priority for his family home vs living in a city, he might not really care that much or it could be a deal breaker. Talk with him instead of assuming the worst.
If it truly is just a lack of romantic interest, just shut it down now. You could easily be the monster stringing this guy along to pop out a kid and then open up that you were never really into him at all. That’s so much more devastating then just a quick clean break . Plus you will only make future misery for yourself and your hypothetical kid in a divorce. Take the time to find someone who you can love and have a family with. But take stock on why your having these issues.
Regardless of if you end up staying with this guy or not, you need to find some self worth outside of marriage and children.
Your life is not over if you don’t get to have those experiences, you just have to change what your goals are and find worth in other ways. Help support the hundreds of foster kids that need help, volunteer more, find some hobbies you like and get some friends. Something that is not tying your worth to marriage and getting knocked up.
Your issue is that your centering children and being married over your own personal growth for likely years and it’s giving you tunnel vision on any other possibility. You likely prioritized the original abusive relationship for the same reason. Suffered more then you needed to because of the sunk cost in trying to achieve the marriage and kids. You still have time to achieve your goals, but you need to also work on yourself for yourself.
It will not only give you self esteem and joy outside of a goal that may or may not happen but will also help you be a more interesting person that likely has a better shot at finding a good guy to marry and have kids with if this one does not work out.

You’ve already given this man two cars and a credit ruin and he’s asking for you to help pay a down payment to a property you would have no ownership on!!!!???????
Wtf girl your being used and this man is trash.

Dumb question but is there not a way to zip tie the drop side? If that mechanism is the problem and can be secured then in theory you can use it. Put that side on the wall so the zip ties are not obvious.
I don’t know if I would use it as the daily but for naps at her place that would be okay?

Fuck that. Christmas is my least favorite holiday combined with the worst months to be trying to put out decorations. Halloween is the one decorating season where you can go all out for horror, spooky and whatever. It’s a lot of people’s favorite time of the year. I can sympathize for parents with kids that are scared of decorations but not enough to not put out my favorite gory decor.
Some of us love the theatrical craft of making things. And halloween is the time to go big and interesting. Their is only so many ways to make Christmas decorations, and it’s all just ends up so BORING. Much rather spend my money on a giant zombie elk then a giant mutt cracker
Kids don’t even trick or treat anymore, the trunk or treat has removed any context of actually venturing into the unknown and the bravery that’s required for kids to go up to a scary house. When I got my first house I bought the candy and barely anyone came. Now I build for myself and other adults for our Halloween party and haunted path.

It really shouldn’t be that big of a deal either way. I vote that this sub adds a flair where you can put your flag. It remove some of this nonsense
EdgyAnimeReference
My big issue is if I don’t purchase the more expensive thing (ie not the horrid plastic ) it’s almost guaranteed to be crap and pill/stretch/dissolve within a season. You end up spending more money then if you just got the stupid good pants.
Depop and poshmark are good if you know exactly what you want (cashmere xl red cable knit sweater for example) but I feel like it’s hard to get the basics.
At this point the fast fashion is close enough in price that it’s not worth buying it at all. If your just one pant size off, I would just bite the bullet and get a good two pairs to get through fall/winter. You’ll still be able to wear them when your smaller but you should accommodate yourself now. Plus postpartum may mean you never get to original pants, most women’s hips literally widen, let alone the dreaded mom pooch.
Luckily wider legs are in style right now and I think those lend themselves to a more variable size. I like Levi jeans, mango and oglmove. express for work pants. If your in a warm enough climate, you can also just rock some yogas for a while.
For tops, get one really nice oversized cashmere sweater or cardigan. You’ll always wear it no matter how much you lose and it’s going to be so much more useful than cheap plastic crap. Get three good tops (I love oglmove for their built in bras). Something plain to work for everyday,
If you have two pairs of pants + three tops + sweater/cardigan you should be able to mix and match and have a capsule wardrobe for the season.
I spend so much less on clothes after just accepting I need to spend more upfront and making sure everything is in a cohesive color pallet

You can continue to increase pay while taking the same roles by moving between companies. They can be lateral moves without increases in responsibility and these statistically raise more then just inter company raises. Plus they can be lifestyle improvements if the company is better managed.
You can also be a subject matter expert, knowledgeable to a level that you get paid more purely for that. You don’t have to be management.
EdgyAnimeReference
You only think it a weird take because you ended up having kids and thus would prefer if things catered to them and you more.
Halloween is a specific time of year a bunch of adults get to indulge in the horror and macabre. It’s so many people’s favorite holiday so you wanting people to go more cutesy for your kids accommodation hits a particular nerve of no fuck you this is what Halloween is about.
Here is what you do for the kids. Ask someone who has scary decor if you can have the kid check out the decor in the daytime. Have them desensitize to the fact that it’s hunks of plastic or put silly hats on a few of them. In fact you can even indulge in it yourself! Get a scary decor item and have the kid help you put it up! Your job as a parent is to teach them about the world and occasionally there is going to be scary things.
Otherwise if your kid is chickenshit, teach some coping mechanisms with closing the eyes and counting to ten, go to the park instead for a month.

I got a 3 layer fan from them, no issues!
Gorgeous feathers and they had great customization options. Took a bit to get them but nothing outside of what was communicated during ordering.
I did not get the aluminum staves so I can’t speak to that but I recommend them for sure!
EdgyAnimeReference
My dear, you gotta learn some tact.
No broke bitches is perfectly fine as a personal policy for friendship but it’s completely unnecessary to say that to the person. There is just no way to take that as anything but an insult.
There is all sorts of reasons friendships fizzle out, you can just let the invites hang in the air, never reciprocate or agree and eventually they’ll quit trying.
I do think bumble might be a poor fit, since it seems like it’s nature is to try to form deep connections. I’ve never used it so I don’t know how much the app lets you specify what your looking for, maybe it would help to mention some high brow activities out the gate and that your specifically looking for activity buddies? Then it’s a little more apparent what your looking for in hangouts.
I’d probably look for supper clubs, social groups or women’s activity groups too.
EdgyAnimeReference
That’s making some big assumptions to other people’s enjoyment. What’s the saying? Assumptions make an assumption out of you and me?
You can speak to your own experience and even say that for a majority of people you know they enjoy their kids. But there is always a chunk for folks who are miserable having kids. Everything does not have to be for everyone

The regretful parents sub would beg to differ

You awnsered your own question. If your son has learned self regulation and it would be a rare issue for him to freak out in class, then he is not the students most of these folks are talking about.
Every case is going to be individual. Some non sped kids can be worse due to behavioral issues, not cognitive impairments.
I would hope you agree If your son was able to make it in a non-sped room and then there’s another kid suddenly throwing chairs at him; you would want that kid removed.
That’s what is the major gripe here . There is no recourse to remove kids that cannot meet expectations regularly and iep’s are being abused to give kids excuses instead of tools. I’m sure if your son was having enough disruptions you would walk it back and put him in sped, but more parents push to keep the kids in class regardless of frequent disruptions and violence.
EdgyAnimeReference
Op you have power in a few ways. Specifically in threatening to sue, or more importantly being the squeaky wheel. If there is a disruptive kids specifically that your having issues with, you have to bring this to the school and bitch HARD. Coordinate with other parents in the class. Threaten police action on the kids violence.
Your power is in pressure and volume so that when the opposite parent trying to do the “least restrictive environment” thing, the school can point to yall on where this is not a possibility. Schools are more interested in the path of least resistance and that usually means letting the average kids suffer because they and their parents put up with it. The only way to see change is if your worse then those parents.
Ask to have your child removed from any class with that child due to traumatic incidences.
EdgyAnimeReference
What are these reasons? I’m a pretty avid Toyota fan as far as car reliability goes so I’d be interested to here what’s up
Good thing we’re not having kids then. Hopefully the bell curve is inverse of ai taking jobs to people existing 🤷♀️
