Chinese watches. Brands like Watchdives offer incredible quality at low prices. But sub R1000 might be tough in 2026.

No worries, at least this post was way shorter.

I actually do have a plate loaded cable machine, which I do occasionally use. It came with the power rack. Yes, it is easier to load plates on the cable machine than around your waist.

Last thought on the Barbell for legs. Would some sort of Viking Press attachment to do Landmine Squats not mimic a leg press without the bulk of a leg press machine?

You would need millions to purchase the Technogym equipment that Fit24 uses.

SAPS Complaints Centre is also an option. Loads of different contact numbers/emails.

Come on guys, lets flood the police inspectorate with our complaints. These guys behave with impunity because they know that we will not report them. At the very least, lets drop the complaints department an email: https://www.saps.gov.za/services/service_complaints_centre.php

Legs look great in that dress.

Are they striking to the US embassy? There desire to constantly bomb Middle East countries is the major cause of the current cost of living crisis.

Lol, I did read to end. But I just have to add this in for anyone else reading this post. The back squat isn't the only leg exercise that you can do with a barbell. There's lunges, calf raises, hip thrust, front squats, bulgarians, loads more squat and deadlift variations. Like wise, you have loads of barbell back exercises, bench press variations to target different different muscles, overhead presses and uprights rows for shoulders that often get overlooked, tricep extensions off an incline bench to really grow your arms, etc etc.

Obviously if you reach haftor levels where you now need machines to get around the mobility limitations of your big muscles, then kudos to you.

I agree. But these people aren't being influenced by YouTubers. These people will buy Technogym equipment.

EditingAllowed

Those people aren't being influenced by YouTube reviewers?

EditingAllowed

I personally do understand the logic of purchasing a leg press or even a back extension bench (the current flavours of the year) instead of just doing deadlifts in a home gym?

If you are gonna build something that has all the bulky machines, why not just a build a full blown gym and offer memberships?

So turnout at St Georges Park and Newlands is going to be poor as well?

EditingAllowed

It would be quicker this time as they have already modified their OS systems to run colour screens?

EditingAllowed

Report it to SAPS. Then report it to the IPID if SAPS does nothing.

We need to flood the IPID with complaints about SAPS ignoring phone theft, even when their is GPS data linking to the phone location.

The new circuit is more to get F1 closer to Cape Town. Kyalami is quite far from Cape Town.

Bavuma is obviously brilliant.

That said, I have been watching test match cricket for a while, and the drawn result seems to have become extinct, which would have pushed win % down for other captains.

Obviously Bavuma is ahead of everyone else as he has no losses.

Yep petrol attendants have their own minimum wage which is way higher. You should be tipping the convenience store workers as they do not qualify for that higher minimum wage, but how many people are okay with not tipping convenience store workers?

EditingAllowed

You do not have to tip for the extra stuff. The franchises want their attendants to offer the service to every customer. It's part of the job.

The annoying thing is that since they dropped MIP for all other models, it's either this Fenix 9 Pro with visibility issues or an AMOLED watch.

Maybe this is Garmin's way of phasing out MIPs. Only release them in Sapphire, at $1099+, in large sizes. People will compare visibility against current AMOLEDs, and prices, and AMOLEDs come in smaller sizes, people will choose AMOLED.

EditingAllowed

My thoughts? AI post. Is this the future of Reddit?

As an accountant who processes a lot of EMP submissions, by most people, you mean more than 80%, 90%+ if most workers are entry level workers.

Sadly, I have yet to see any businesses moving for cheaper fees or faster transaction processes.

EditingAllowed

LOL, cropping out everything else including the device names.

EditingAllowed

Yeah dude, MIP has better battery life than AMOLED with the screen on. Everyone knows this. The link you posted does not show otherwise. Stop wasting our time please.

EditingAllowed

Also DCR on another r/GarminWatches thread:

Correct. The Sapphire layer on the MIP really makes it pretty crap, and concurrently, the clarity on the AMOLED makes it even sharper.

Seems like this is more of Fenix 9 Pro Solar problem than a MIP display problem. They should have used Gorilla Glass.

Speaking from experience, the Forerunner 955 is one of those MIP devices that does not need the backlight during the day. It having has good viewing angles. It definitely does not behave like the picture above in shade.

"If we compare the Forerunner 955 to the Fenix 9 47 mm AMOLED, the Forerunner got fewer days of battery in smartwatch mode and fewer hours of activity recording in some, but not all, activity modes." - who did this comparison? any link to the source?
