That's right mate, people whining about the "open world" are totally confused about this game and how this mechanic it's supposed to work, is perfect as it is, easy to follow and complete and give you a nice moment to appreciate the art, structure and even you can chill killing enemies any time you want. it makes all the sense how it was build and everyone can enjoy it or leave it away.

That's the greatness in onimusha, you'll never get that feeling of "why am I dying?!!" You can literally see why are you failing, if you're reacting too slow, how to prepare and how to overcome, it's amazing, is the way of the sword for real 🤣

lvl 5, tried the easiest, begginer armor? haven't found different armor only the nobles suits, I have no potions or oil related with the cockatrice (to survive, only the draconic one to do more damage).
Not sure what are you talking about with "gameplay combat related setting" but i was doing it great against humanoids and smaller beasts (wolves, bear) blood and broken bones difficulty but even in the easiest one I'm getting killed by the bird

game only recomended draconic oil (or something like that) to incrase damage but what is killing me is the bleeding, don't know where to get information about it (i don't recall if missed this part), the beastarious said nothing about it and the potions that already crafted don't work with it either (the bleeding).
What is a golden oriole how do i get information about it in the game, i don't mind to craft resources to get prepare, but the lack of information is what is getting me stuck.
i dig quen is an item that stop bleeding, but don't know how to find it or its existence till now, thank you so much for the tips, if you can recomend me a way to learn more about crafting inse the game or a friendly data base i would thank you even more.

He's a pain in the a$%, try to conquer every phase, the first one gets very easy quickly and for the second a third one just focus in that movements that are killing you (the grabbing, the onslaught, the three chain pink sword attack.. etc) focus in a way or two to defend from them, most of them are "easy" to issen so practice your issen (being the 180° slash the easiest to issen cause it's used in every phase) once you learn how to deal with this attacks you will smash him at oni form.
Don't give up he is tough at the beginning, make you think you can't anticipate an attack but you'll get used to it
PD: every time you take his red var out, go for souls (his hand) and not for the head, the oni form is the key to beat him.

Aggressive is perfect, this is just a skill issue, aggressive is the most comfortable configuration for any action video game, r/L buttons are for shooters!! (or shield) or complements... xD

I would have to practice a lot... I'm not sure if would take me more time than just practice deflect with this configuration xD

comfort, R for parry is not cool, dodging with B/O instead of A/X isn't great either

Totally a 10 I don't know what people it's crying about the open world it's perfect the way it is, this is not an common ARPG secondary stages are there just to get multiple resources in order to level up your gear or get fashion content this world is not based in what it's happening in Kyoto, is the f*k/Ng way of the sword combat it's all that matters and it's top, on of the best I've ever played and many has. So if you're enjoying your trip, if you understand that a woman praying for her husband to die don't need to have impact in Musashi history then it's ok to call it a 10.

Onimusha all day long

Even when I beat a boss at first try I can't be sure if I will really do it till is dead, because even when you're doing perfectly the entire match, a minimum mistake it's all what it takes to die with honor xD
